We love Dr. Julie and the service they provide at Troy Vet Clinic. We have taken all of our pets there throughout the years and have always been treated fairly and with compassion. She knows each of our pets by their name and asks about all the others when we bring one in.

Dr. Mears and her staff have been wonderful to our “fur family” and humans alike. She showed compassion and empathy as my husband, our three kids and I stayed with our old girl, Ruby, as she passed over the rainbow bridge in 2020. Dr. Mears also reacted quickly when diagnosing our Labradane, Vinny Bear, with bloat which required emergency surgery at nine months old. She is the reason he survived. Dr. Mears and staff explain all of the costs in advance, and explains what is required, necessary or unnecessary. She allows the family to ultimately choose what is best for their pets. Thank you for serving our community!

They are not overcrowding like many other clinics. They go through estimates and have me sign it before they do any treatment so we are both clear of any charges and what they are for and why it is necessary. They answer questions promptly or help get me resources to any questions I have that may be harder to find. They require a heartworm test yearly to make sure my dogs do not have heartworm before giving their prevention, which is important to me and my dogs to know their prevention is helping. I appreciate their compassion for animals and the knowledge they share. If you own an animal, expect to have to spend money on them on occasion. Get their vaccinations, keep their teeth clean. Treat your animal and humans around you with the same respect you expect.

Julie and the staff are amazing and have always taken care of my Goldendoodle. Always fast appointment times and short waits. I would recommend this vet clinic to anyone. Great service and very friendly!

Long time client of TVC. Leaving due to prices and lack of staff knowledge of animal behavior. They are far too expensive for the quality of care and lack of knowledge. While the staff have always generally been friendly, this is far from the best vet in the area. Again, having had animals at the vet practically since they opened, it’s tough to leave but long overdue.

On May 9, 2022, Troy Veterinary Clinic discovered a lump on Samson’s leg during a dental procedure and removed the lump while he was still under anesthesia. The histopath diagnosis was cutaneous hemangiosarcoma - an aggressive and lethal form of skin cancer. After consulting with an oncologist at VSS, we were given hopeful news that Troy Vet Clinic may have caught the cancer early enough to be curative. Today, June 29, 2022, Samson underwent a series of imaging to establish if and how far his cancer has spread internally. Remarkably, Samson is CANCER-FREE. He will still need routine screenings every 3-6 months, but for now we can rest a little easier knowing that he won’t be leaving us any time soon! Extraordinary circumstances brought Samson to Troy Vet Clinic and for that Jessica and I are extremely thankful. I would also like to thank Julea Marino for finding the lump and saving Samson’s life. Today is a great day! ❤️🐾❤️🐾

Our dog needed to be seen and they got him in first thing on a Monday morning. He was very well taken care of and my husband was sent home with everything we needed to continue care. We were sent a text afterwards inquiring how our boy was doing. I would recommend them for your pets needs.

Troy Vet Clinic did my 9 year old Collie Mix, Luna’s, dental and mass removal yesterday. She is doing wonderful. I was so stressed and they definitely took such great care of her. I’m so pleased with the service!
