I am very happy with my experience at Laketown Animal Hospital. I have a very senior dog that means the world to me. Dr. Gillen was exceptional in that he explained a lot in detail of what to look for in a senior dog. He was very professional and compassionate. He gave me more information than any of my prior veterinarians, including the one had had been taking my dog to since she was nine weeks old. I highly recommend Laketown. The entire staff was very professional, helpful and friendly.

Laketown staff are the BEST! I recently had to say goodbye to one of my dogs and they made the process doable. They were so compassionate and kind. I cantimagine having taken him to anyone else for his end of life care.
I take my other dog to see them too. I always leave with my questions answered and feeling like they genuinely care about me and my animals. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

I recently relocated back to Springfield and had the pleasure of bringing my beloved British Shorthair, Winston, to Laketown Animal Hospital for the first time. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the staff.

Winston received his annual physical, blood work, and updated vaccines during our visit. The vet noticed a loose front canine and recommended an extraction along with a dental cleaning. The provided estimate was surprisingly reasonable, and I scheduled the procedure without hesitation.

The entire process, from scheduling to surgery day, was seamless and stress-free. The staff went above and beyond to ensure Winston’s comfort and well-being. Thanks to their expertise and care, Winston is now back to his playful self.
