Reading through the reviews, to each their own. Great experience for our dogs. She helped us see that our actions as owners have a strong impact on our dogs and how they act and behave. They came back clean and happy.

We have truly enjoyed using Holly as our groomer. She is a very sweet woman who treats my teo dogs with care. Our dogs are very excited every time we go to the groomer and never act scared. The grooming is great and clean. Fair priced as well!

Our otherwise obedient, super mild mannered, sweet family dog would come unglued barking whenever somebody came to the door or we were in public. I contacted Holly and she said she could definitely help him gain more self control and we discussed positive reinforcements. We arranged for him to stay for a week while we were out of state for a family event. The day I went to pick him up, she had him on a leash when he immediately began running to me and she choked him back hard with a spiked collar. I was shocked but watched as she walked him to demonstrate the work she had done with him. She would “pop” the spiked collar super hard and I was horrified as I realized I had left my dog with this woman for a week and it was clearly hurting him. Our breed of dog is known to have weak tracheas anyway, something she should have known, and this was just scary as it could have severely injured our dog. The fear in his eyes told me I needed to take charge so I took hold of his leash asap and just tried to get my dog out of there as fast as I could. We went inside to get his canvas kennel and she took that time to demonstrate to me her rattle bottle method. She had an old soda bottle filled with rocks and said whenever he barks to just shake the rattle bottle and he will stop, that “they don’t like the noise.” However, when she picked that bottle up, my dog cowered down like he was going to be hit with it. At this point, it was all I could do to not punch this lady in the face. Furthermore, when we got home, I noticed large, deep swinging motion typed scratch marks inside of his kennel as if he had been trying to get away or fighting from something. Our dog is older and very settled and has never been one to scratch or dig EVER. I left as politely as I could, immediately called my husband and cried the whole drive home. Our dog was definitely traumatized and was withdrawn for weeks afterwards. Kills me to think what he was feeling that his owner and family who are here to keep him safe, left him there for a week of God knows what. If you love your animal, please don’t leave them here for any reason.

Holly is a fast, efficient groomer. I've been very pleased with results and i have used her 4 or 5 times. My dogs seem pretty happy after. I recommend her.

I paid for the 7 day program. My dog was there because of separation anxiety and I needed help with some basic commands. After one afternoon (about 4 hours), I was informed he was unmanageable and with him there no other work could be done. I had been worried because I had warned hed be a handful prior to takimg him and was assured it would be fine. When I got home. I noticed several injuries ranging from minor to rather deep. On top of his hip, under his arm, and several deep gouges on his legs. When I asked about them I was told, nothing was known to have happened and she didnt know. Maybe it was when she put him in her large kennel and he panicked. I had advised he was a house dog and had never been kenneled before he went and was told hed be supervised to be sure he wouldnt hurt himself freaking out or something. But she made it clear he was kenneled and left anyway, so no way to know what happened. Determined and unsure his issses arent my fault... I agreed to weekly visits instead but because of scheduling issues on both sides (twice she forgot and wasn't even home) It was not possible to meet regularly. Also with several of the issues my dog has, she replied she didn't know either when I stated I didn't know what to do. During 1 training out of the 3, my dog was frantic when she took the lead. Pulling against him, the prong collar hiked up to his ears and he was yipping and crying everytime she "popped" him to try get him to come with her. I finally stopped it because my dog seemed to be in genuine pain and despite not wanting him to win... I dont believe in using pain to train. I dont like force training methods at all and I also made that clear before signing the contract. I knew hes a pain from the way he was screaming and yipping, so we agreed training would be more instructional rather than us both taking lead. After some thought I wonder why my dog became so frantic the second she took the lead. When I have tried to re-create this with friends, even some he doesn't know well at all or trust fully. He doesn't even react and walks with them. Maybe because I left him there and he has severe seperation anxiety but I cant stop thinking about those deep gashes on his thigh and abrasions on his legs and belly. No harness was used and did not look like a fence abrasion... Not that, that would be ok. After some thought and deciding I was no longer comfortable and with the difficulty scheduling (which was some on me), I asked for a partial refund trying to be respectful of the time spent already, but unhappy because i paid for 7 day's and training that couldn't be provided. I was offered 25.00 and decided a refund wasn't needed after all. Lesson learned and now I've shared my experience. Not a good fit for behavior issues for house pets. Probably fine for basic training for dogs with 0 issues. my dogs an ahole... That's why I needed a professional. Wasn't a good fit for us, probably fine for others...

Maybe a good groomer and dog sitter. Knows 0 about dog training and also dogs come home with odd scratches and unexplained wounds. Beware.
