Our sweet dog was able to pass away peacefully in our home this afternoon. We were so blessed to have Dr. Farmer from Woodlake Veterinary Housecall Service gently help us through every step of the journey. She couldn’t have been kinder and more caring. I can’t thank her enough. The paw print that she made for us before she left was very thoughtful and something our family will cherish. Hopefully none of my neighbors will need her services anytime soon but if you do, I highly recommend her.

Doctor Farmer is hands down the best veterinarian we have ever dealt with in our entire life. I don’t know if I have just had bad luck with veterinarians or what… I also have no idea what individual doctors have to deal with when they work for some of these big outfits, so I will try not to be too harsh. But Doctor Farmer is the first veterinarian I have dealt with that I felt like genuinely cared about my animals and was not just looking for more ways to make my visit more expensive. I could be a little bit biased I guess, because she helped us through a very difficult situation with our male Boxer, Nimrodd. Nah… that’s not it. She’s just an amazing Doctor.

Dr. Farmer was so kind and amazingly sweet. She was very respectful of the whole process of putting my dog down and made it a very peaceful experience. I am so glad that she was able to help us.

We found Dr Farmer because when it came time to put our beloved dog down, he was far too large and had mobility issues. Taking him to a vet would have made his last day miserable.
Dr Farmer was the perfect mixture of compassion and professionalism. Loki was like a brother to me, was born in my back yard. So it was so nice to be able to have him go in the only home he's ever known surrounded by his loved ones.
She informed us of everything to expect, gave us plenty of time with him sedated to hold him and do our best to get ready. He never seemed to be in any discomfort at all, and Dr Farmer's compassion and overall demeanor were as comforting to us as anything could be during such a time.
There's no doubt that Dr Farmer is a true animal lover. I'm pretty sure I saw her eyes well up a bit as she did it. She explained how much she dislikes it, but that sometimes it's the only thing you can do to relieve the suffering so it must be done and that's what gets her through it.
I will forever be thankful for Dr Farmer for everything. No vet I've ever met could have handled everything from the actual medical side to being there for us through it as well as she did.
This review is already long enough so I'll end it there, but I could write a small book on how thankful I am for what Dr Farmer does.
If you need an in home vet, do not hesitate. There aren't enough vets out there like her.

My beloved Feline best pal for the last 17 years Charlie did not have long to live yesterday. It was a Sunday and I was so thankful that Dr Farmer called me back. I was able to get Charlie home from the ER vet for a short time and she helped him pass peacefully on my chest at his home. She drove all the way up from Visalia to Fresno. Thank you Dr Farmer. ❤️

Putting down a beloved pet is never easy and having to take your pet to a veterinarian office is even more uncomfortable for every one! So grateful that we found Dr. farmer and we’re able to be by Bruce’s side as a family as he crossed the rainbow bridge from his own home…, it made it easier to deal with and I’m grateful for Dr. Farmer for making this possible. We had a great experience today Oct.8 2022. I am so glad I was able to connect with her services. Unfortunately the service was an in home euthanasia for our large senior dog. I was so thankful for this service my 4 small kiddos were able to be with our dog through out the whole process. He was relaxed and he was surrounded by the humans that loved him the most. The vet was kind and compassionate and she walk us through every single step.

Dr. Emily Farmer probably was born to be a vet. She was a really calm and sweet personality. She helped us with our dog Sophia during her passing. She explained step by step what was going to happen, and what to expected. It was very important to my kid, that was present and petting Sophia's all the time. Sophia passed at home, in her bed, without stress, or fear, surrounded by her family. I really appreciated Dr. Farmer's service and highly recommend her.
