Allyson has been incredibly patient with our dogs, and has been a real life-saver for our dog Daisy who couldn't be groomed anywhere other than at home. Daisy's life was made so much better by how well she was groomed, I will always appreciate the care Allyson took with her. Our dogs Rose and Tucker lover her too!

I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am to Allyson at Less Stress for her incredible kindness and gentleness with my beloved grumpy old lady, Lucy. Lucy was already 15 when her previous human passed away and I adopted her in 2018. She had had a rough time in life and, while she settled in for a cozy old age, she never liked being brushed. As she got older, she stopped grooming herself, and the little bit of brushing she let me do could never keep up with her mats. I was thrilled to learn that there was a house call groomer who could help. Allyson helped immensely during the last year of Lucy's life, keeping her clean and mat-free. She was so incredibly gentle and patient with this tiny, fragile elderly cat, and I will be forever grateful for her kindness. I know Lucy was grateful too, even though she didn't show it (trying to bite and peeing during a blow dry don't really count as expressions of gratitude, I think). It broke my heart when I had to tell Allyson that we needed to cancel an appointment for Lucy last summer because Lucy had passed away. She made it to 20, and her last year was made infinitely more comfortable through Allyson's help. THANK YOU!

Allyson was so amazing with my big scaredy cat tobi. he's a long hair and it was his first time getting groomed and she was so patient and gentle. she kept saying things like "it's okay baby" and "meow" when he meowed and it made my stress disappear. plus his hair looks amazing now. thank you!!

Allyson is truly an "animal person" in the best way. Her love for and connection with animals is evident in every decision she makes and how she treats your pet. My dog is the most anxious, fearful, insecure senior rescue dog and has behavioral issues but she has remained patient and willing to continue working with him despite his challenging behavior and physical limitations. As he continues to grow older, I can't imagine another groomer being able to meet his accommodations and treat him with the love and care he deserves but her. I am so thankful I found her to groom him. Her grooming is also top notch: she understands breeds and coats and makes him look like a cute young puppy. My kids say he's got the cutest haircuts he has ever had since she took over! She is skilled and understands mixed breed coats and working with curly poodle hair. What a dream! And the icing on the cake is her rates are very affordable even! And the sprinkles on the cake is she's a good human and a badass on top of it all. Like how did we get so lucky to find her?! Thank you so much for everything Allyson!!! Less Stress, indeed. Edited to add that I'm immunocompromised with multiple health conditions and treatments and have struggled throughout the pandemic and Allyson is a doll who always wears a mask in our house which makes me so grateful and feel safe.

My sweet dog Lily would have been lost without Allyson and her care. Lily had severe hip dysplasia and Allyson was so patient and kind with her, even made her dog treats! I truly don't know what I would have done during Lily's last months without Allyson's calm presence with Lily, who was so shy . . . Allyson's work, too, was far superior to any we've had at professional groomers. And, she came to my house and took care of Lily when I was out of town, even washing, drying, and re-doing Lily's bedding when she had an accident in addition to feeding and walking her. She also reached out to me to inquire about how she was doing between appointments. You simply don't find people like her every day. I treasure her, recommend her highly and without reservation. You will not use anyone else if you have her over even once. She's absolutely the best!

My dog Lucy is pretty skittish about having anyone touch her paws, but she allows Allyson to trim her nails and the little hairs that grow on her feet and stick out between her toes! It’s really awesome to have someone that you trust be able to come to you so your pet isn’t anxious. I recommend Less Stress Mobile Grooming!
