Honestly, the trip from the city to come out here was worth it. The staff was really kind, despite it being so early in the morning. We could see probably for miles on end from where we went up to. The instructor taught me how to steer the glider slightly, but he was the true professional, so I let him do it. Anyways, it was well worth it and I'd definitely go back again.

Even if you don't hang glide, Wallaby Ranch is just a really cool place! But, of course, the hang gliding is absolutely incredible. Malcolm and Chris were very helpful and definitely prioritized safety.

A heads up, it's best to call the night before to see if the weather will participate. We got hit with fog two separate days and had to wait awhile and then only one of us could go up because it had gotten windy. I'm glad that they're willing to make those hard decisions to keep us safe. Just be prepared to switch some things around on your itinerary if you want to guarantee a flight (worth it, in my opinion).

This is a wonderful experience for ages 3 and up!! Very professional, and an awesome flight!! Beautiful ranch, a tasty breakfast, and some truly amazing views. I loved seeing all of the wonderful tree swings in a variety of sizes 😉. We will be back!!

We took our entire hot air balloon crew on our yearly outing. Wallaby ranch and the staff did not disappoint. We fly hot air balloons but seeing the view from the Hang glider is a different kind of experience that everyone should try. The staff was all extremely knowledgeable and willing to work with us and our young crew to make sure we were all able to get in the air. After the flight they treated us to a home cooked breakfast that I would highly recommend. We will most definitely be back and possibly some students lessons.

The first time I came to Wallaby Ranch was when I turned 50. There is a rule somewhere that you have to do something stupid when you turn 50 like jump out of a plane.

That wasn’t going to happen.

So, I guess the next best thing is to drag you into the sky by a plane and then let you go.

I was terrified.

But I did it anyway.

The team at Wallaby Ranch was amazing. They clearly knew what the heck they were doing and made me fell like there was less of a chance that I way fall to my death. Which is a good thing.

I enjoyed it so much that my wife and I took my son for his birthday (he’s not 50 yet) and we all had an awesome time!!!

He wasn’t nervous at all which kind of made me look like a wimp.

Oh, and last thing. Stick around for the breakfast afterwards.

Highly recommend giving this a try! We did the discovery flight which made the process simple…showed up, went over some paperwork, and then waited for our turn to go up. The flight itself is relaxing and offers beautiful views.

We are adventurers having experienced most extreme sports. We were very disappointed mainly with the tandem guide we flew with.
He was not friendly. He gave almost no instructions even after he knew it was our first HangGliding experience.
His main focus throughout the flight was "DON'T TOUCH THE BAR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES."
Wish we had a better experience since we were so looking forward to it.

It was a good experience but with a few areas for improvement. My son and I did the Tandem Discovery Flight. On the company's website, it states that once you go up in the air and release from the tug, "you will free-fly for approximately 15 minutes." This is not true. Upon reviewing the footage from the GoPro camera, the entire flight from take off to landing was only 9 minutes. The free-fly time after the tug release, therefore, was just 3 minutes (not at all 15). Also, the staff invited customers to join them for a complimentary meal at 10 am. It's not complimentary (about an $8 "donation" per person), but it is an inexpensive meal and one that is plentiful. You can go back for seconds. They offer an array of beverages. The staff are super friendly and polite. While waiting for your meal, they have a variety of games available (ping-pong, basketball, volleyball) and several shaded areas to sit. The staff are also super responsive. When I was first trying to schedule our visit, my phone signal was poor and kept dropping the call. So they texted me instead, and I was able to set up the appointment. Overall, though it was good.
