Wagnolia was great on the basic checkups, but when our elderly dog had an issue, they got very hands-off.

They sent us tonthe emergency vet and then didn't contact us again. We felt at sea, not knowing if we could trust what the ER doc was suggesting (an invasive procedure) and without Wagnolia on ourbside, we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize. Very disappointing

Would recommend to anyone! The staff is incredible with my pup and take such great care of her. The vets answer all my questions and explain things clearly so I can understand what is going on. They don't push unnecessary procedures and are always crystal clear on what a procedure or appointment will cost. Could not recommend them enough!

Wow! The team at the clinic are incredible!! I was blown away by their compassion, understanding and patience. I moved to Chicago recently and my sweet 15-year-old pug was already showing signs that it may be time to say goodbye. We had never even been to Wagnolia when I called after a rough night when I knew she was ready. From the first phone call, every single person we spoke to and worked with was insanely kind. They were so understanding about the situation. They made the environment very calming and helped my sweet girl transition with ease. Then, to my surprise, when it was time to pick up her remains, the entire team signed a card all with personal notes that brought tears to my eyes. She's even memorialized in a hand-carved beautiful box with her name engraved. To Dr.Joshi and Emmett especially plus Karina, Sophie, Jackie, and Samantha, thank you for helping make such an incredibly difficult time a little easier. I appreciate you. You are a blessing more than you know. Much gratitude! - Kristen and Junepug

Dr. Joshi and the team at Wagnolia have been wonderful for both of my dogs. We came to Chicago knowing that both girls had complicated medical histories, and we were nervous about finding a vet who would be a good fit. Working with Dr. Joshi over the past few years has been a game changer. She recommended many preventative measures that have kept both girls healthier and happier, and have significantly lessened the chronic ear and skin infections they both previously experienced. I wholeheartedly recommend!

Extremely expensive care compared to other options in the area and honestly worse quality. Missed an extremely obvious thyroid problem in a cat my friend was fostering and only pushed an extremely overpriced dental cleaning. Suggested the same for my cat for over double what we ended up paying at another vet in the neighborhood (the teeth cleaning was necessary for my cat and we were very satisfied with the care we received elsewhere). There's no reason for the exact same care to cost this much more, especially when the vets are missing clear health issues - feels like they are just looking for things to overcharge for rather than caring for the animals.

I had a really good experience here. I just adopted a new cat (Agatha) and I wanted to take her in for a wellness exam to see how she was doing. They noted that her ears were a little dirty so they did a cytology. The ear did come back positive for an ear infection, and the tech Genesis was really helpful in showing me exactly how to clean the ears out and administer the medication. My vet was Dr. Bhatt who was really kind and professional. She was able to look in Agatha's mouth and saw that she had some dental tartar and some resorptive lesions (uh-oh) and recommended a dental which we will be undergoing in December or January. The appointment was only about 30 minutes which was awesome. Everyone there was very much a cat person which I really like about a clinic 🙂 Sometimes I feel like other clinics are more dog focused 😉 In total, my bill was very low. The initial exam fee was $72, with the ear cytology, ear cleaning, and ear meds all equaling about $130. I have pet insurance through Figo so I submitted her claim same day because they could cover that ear infection. Here is a pic of my sweet girl in an exam room. Thank you to Dr. Bhatt, Paige, and Genesis for being so great!

I visited their vet clinic to inquire about two vaccinations for my dog that recently expired. The desk staff refused to even look it up for me. Unlike every other vet I’ve ever been to, they do not disclose their prices before service, which is extremely dishonest and misleading.

You will only know what you’re going to pay after you make an appointment and show up with your dog. The cost could be $200, $300 or maybe $500. You’ll never know because they do not disclose it beforehand. Others have commented on the prices of their services. So I assume this is why they have become so secretive and try to price trap you.

I will not be bringing my dog here, and I will let everyone I know not to bring their dog here. What a waste of time walking in.

So rude.

I moved nearby and called to schedule an appointment, was told there was a four month waiting list and since my dogs rabies expired in five months I thought perfect we can schedule for five months out and do the vaccine in one go. Five months later my dog and I show up for our appointment and the doors are locked, this was midday. I called to get in. The receptionist was quite rude, told me she was confused because she didn’t see anything in their system for us. I explained I had called five months ago for this appointment. She asked ‘didn’t you think it was weird you didn’t get any pre-appointment forms emailed to you?’ Since my prior place was walk-ins only and I’ve never been here before, I told her ‘no’ and asked if there was anyway they could still get us in. She condescendingly said no there’s nothing we can do. She, again condescendingly, asked if I was sure I called the right place. I told her I had used maps to find the phone number so unless their Google listing was out of date, yes I called the right place. I asked her okay what can we do? His vaccine is expired can I at least get that done? She said no, which I understand. She said I could however make an appointment at the back of their wait list, four months out. I’m not sure why their waitlist is four months long when in the middle of the day during their ‘business hours’ they had no appointments scheduled to the point that the doors were locked. I might have considered making an appointment if the receptionist hadn’t been the rudest most condescending person I’ve met in the veterinarian industry.
