I reached out to The Bridge line In December of 2022, following a major vehicular accident I sustained in November of that same year. I was diagnosed with a traumatic head injury and had some long-term side effects that were really affecting my quality of life. I was recommended The BridgeLine by a client of mine who is a nurse in the Charlottesville area. I was brought in for an intake. They asked questions, and they needed to see doctor's notes supporting that I had a head injury. I gave them all the paperwork and they told me they would reach out to me to tell me if I was confirmed that it was something that they could help with or if I was denied.

I never heard back from them either way, until today mid-July 2024, I had a woman call me telling me that she was my new case manager and she wanted to know if I still needed help. It has been almost 2 years and I have heard nothing from them. I expressed to her that I did not know that I was accepted into The BridgeLine program, that I tried applying in December of 2022. For a case manager, this woman seemed to lack all bedside manner and she told me that that wasn't her problem, that she had just been given the case file from the previous case manager and she just wants to know if I still wanted help. Again, I expressed to her that I needed help 2 years ago and I understand that she wasn't there to give it to me but nobody from this business reached out to me, and I was left having to rehab alone. She then asked me, "yeah, I just need to know if you need help or not so I can make a note on my file to terminate your file or continue to leave your file open."
I asked her to put a note in it that nobody reached out to me for 2 years, so I had to do it my own and I no longer needed help. She hung up on me...

My experience with this company has evidently not been a good one.

Litteraly waited on the deck at 4pm for 21 minutes while it was dead while another couple sat next to us who got a server in less then a minute. I'd ask if we were going to be helped and they said they must have forgotten to go out. Terrible service. I wish I could have tried there food because I've heard good things but I won't stand for a place with bad service so we decided to leave.
