I have been going to Elburn Animal Hospital for 30 years now. Over the years we have lost some pets and their compassion and going above and beyond are outstanding. They are a small clinic who makes you feel like one of the family, I much prefer this to large, cold, and clinical. Dr. Cechner has an amazing amount of technical expertise and training for even the most exotic of pets.

I had been getting the run-around for weeks with the vets in my area. Tests weren't being run & in the meantime my dog was getting sicker & sicker.
I was advised to set up an appointment here by a friend after venting my frustrations & was relieved that for the first time in weeks my concerns were taken seriously and his issue was being looked into.
Definitely worth the drive.

My family has been going here for years and Dr. Susan J Cechner is the best vet around! Can't say enough good things about this place! She has seen our pets from rabbits to guinea pigs to dogs and cats. When I got a new dog this vet was the obvious choice!

Unprofessional. Instead of being patient with my cat, they were forceful, aggressive and lacked compassion and or empathy for her destress. The building is completely unsanitary, things scattered evereywhere. I was a first time client and was hoping to have a new vet location, but after this visit I will not only never come back but will highly un-recommend this location to anyone who should ask. Instead of eating your lunch you should have taken care of the one and only fur baby in the entire building.
