We have been clients of DTN since 2020. Dan and his team do an incredible job teaching the dogs impulse control and to listen to their owners, which transforms them from wild pups into civilized, polite, and pleasure-to-be-around companions. I love that the dogs board at the trainer’s homes, and because Dan’s team sticks around for years, they are no strangers to the pups or owners when you bring your dog back for a refresher or boarding. Highly reccommended.

We met Dan for our consultation, he took the time to ask us about Elroy and what our expectations were. He then went over all the options for training and how their facility works. We decided the 20 day program would get us to where we wanted to be with Elroy. All the trainers are so personable and love all the dogs. Everyone on the staff would check in and ask how it was going at home and if we had any questions or concerns or if we needed any specific skill worked on. Elroy was always excited to go in the morning and was tired and happy when he came home. The love and care they give the dogs while training is unmatched. All the trainers worked with Elroy but when it came to off leash JJ was his only trainer. JJ was wonderful, firm but caring. She really knew Elroy's personality and what worked for him to be successful. When picking up Elroy we would go over the lesson and she always took the time to demonstrate and ask if we had any questions. With every passing day we saw Elroy become more confident in following commands and knowing what we expected him to do. At the end of our program we have a dog that is well trained. We feel very confident that wherever we take him he will behave. We have had dogs for the past 30 years and hands down this is the best dog training experience we ever had.

I walked in the first time for a consult and all the trainers were in love with my puppy. They made ME feel special. LOL. I signed up for three weeks of the puppy program where my puppy learned the world isn't such a scary place and building his confidence up. He even took swimming lessons!

Once he turned 16 weeks I placed him in the 20 day program which goes over walking on a loose leash, sit, down, wait, place, heel, and come, all on and off leash.

My puppy learned so fast. He will for sure be back for the refresher courses!

This was the best dog training experience I have ever had. The trainers are enthusiastic and kind but firm. Their balanced approach is exactly what I needed for my 4 month old German Shepherd Sasha. She is a super intelligent and confident girl, from a working line , so it was important to me to get her a good foundation of training and manners. I signed her up for the 20 day program and it was perfect! She soaked up the training like a sponge and loves to go back for daycare! All of the trainers are great (attentive and striving for the best for your dog) but we spent the most time with Abby during the off leash segment of training. I got emotional seeing her get the best out of my sweet Sasha. Abby’s empowering and positive approach also inspired me to be a more confident handler. I highly recommend this program. 10 out 10!

I recently had the opportunity to take my I recently had the opportunity to take my German Shepherd puppy, Goose, for training at Dog Training Now, and I wanted to share my experience. Overall, I was quite impressed with the level of service I received.

From the moment I reached out, the staff was incredibly responsive and attentive. They took the time to understand my needs, provided helpful recommendations on which services to book, and were flexible with payment terms.

We started with puppy day camp to expose him to other dogs and encourage basic socialization. Once Goose reached 16 weeks, he began a four-week day training program. The trainers were all friendly and professional. I appreciated being exposed to each trainer, as he had a different one each day during the first two weeks. They demonstrated a high level of expertise, answered all our questions, and offered guidance and suggestions, which made me feel confident in their abilities.

In the last two weeks of the program, we were paired with JJ, who we absolutely adore. She has extensive knowledge about German Shepherds! Knowing that my dog will be a big and somewhat intimidating breed, it was critical to set him on the right path for proper training. The progress he made in just four weeks, including being able to work off-leash, is amazing.

He is still young, and we plan to continue with refresher days to practice his training outside of our family. I appreciate having them as a resource for questions and advice, and Goose loves going there to see the trainers twice a week.

Overall, I highly recommend Dog Training Now to anyone looking for dog training!

Dog Training Now was the best decision I made for my pup. I looked at so many other places but, after meeting with Dan, I knew this was the right choice- and I was certainly right! They are incredibly attentive and posted so many photos of my pup while he was boarded and trained. Odie is still a puppy and has his puppy antics but, we are actually able to go on walks that are enjoyable for BOTH of us. He will stay in place (even if he clearly doesn’t want to) for an entire dinner meal and clean up. JJ did a fantastic job taking care of and training Odie. So glad I chose DTN. I took my 2 year old mix breed rescue dog who had been running the streets in Texas very pregnant. I adopted her after she gave birth to 11 puppies. She is a sweet dog but knew nothing as far as commands and was very reactive on leash. I entered her into their 10 day program and she is now a well mannered dog who knows all her commands and is much less reactive on leash. They did an amazing job training her with out breaking her spirit. Thank you

Leo did a 10 day training program with DTN and we saw a huge improvement. He’s a stubborn Multipoo and is also 4yo. We should have done basic training with him earlier…but life happens.

Everyone who worked with Leo was super friendly and he was always happy to see them! Leo still has to work on his manners, but we’ve noticed such a difference in only 10 days time. They did an amazing job making sure we knew what to work on every night/from this point forward and were always willing to answer any questions we had. Training laid great groundwork for us to build on and practice with. We will definitely be back for some grad refresher courses. Thank you DTN for being patient and caring with our stubborn boy.
