We took our dog Norie to Thrive last month for a consultation with neurology and ended up not moving forward without doing an MRI and told ourselves if she had another episode we'd do it. Fast forward to Saturday March 15th after going to our primary we found out our sweet girl had internal bleeding and needed a transfusion. Thinking back to our initial experience with Thrive I decided I wanted to take her here to get treatment. They kept her overnight and answered my calls overnight when I called to check on her which I appreciated. Unfortunately on Sunday after an ultrasound was conducted it appeared she had a bunch of tumors. We decided to bring her home and scheduled an at home euthanasia for Monday. However in the middle of the night Norie collapsed and was struggling, in my panic I called Thrive and talked through things with Chris and ultimately decided to take her back to Thrive. Chris and a few others met us and helped get her out of the car and into the building where we made the decision to euthanize her there, her body had gone into shock. It was not what I wanted for my baby girl but I am so thankful for the staff and their kindness during such a tragic time for us. Chris was there both nights and made our family feel better throughout the whole process. If your pet is going through something and you don't know where to take them I highly recommend taking them to Thrive.

Dr. Pagán's calm expertise during my little guy's emergency intake was lifesaving, and Dr. Hoffberg's exceptional critical care management was truly outstanding. Their combined expertise in stabilizing my chihuahua's condition and managing his blood sugar was impressive, but what truly stood out was their compassionate communication. They patiently answered all my questions and kept me informed every step of the way. As a first-time dog owner with a rescue I adore, knowing my 12-year-old little man was in such capable and caring hands gave me tremendous peace of mind during a terrifying time. Their dedication to my little companion's well-being went above and beyond, and I'm forever grateful for the exceptional care that helped him recover.

My vet referred us to Thrive for our cat Lola. She had a birth defect, her heart sac had a hole and her liver was inside it. They were very kind and delicate with us and her and they fixed it! We are so thankful to have our little girl home and recovering well! Thank you everyone that took such great care of our baby!

As someone who has seen and dealt with emergency vets a lot since getting my wonderful French bulldog, sushi, 5 years ago, I thought I knew what to expect when walking into Thrive. This place exceeded all preconceived notions on what an ER vet is and can be. Everyone was so nice and warm and helpful. As busy as they were, we were seen quickly and efficiently and the plan for treatment was in place within 30 min of being there. They were able to diagnose and treat my sushi baby and saved her life. I had the most amazing experience with my first visit to Thrive! I saw Dr. Cochran in the neurology department for my pup. I was so nervous for the appt and he was beyond wonderful. I walked out with no questions, I felt so much better about my girls situation, he put me at ease, he gave me options and explained everything so thoroughly. I would recommend Dr. Cochran to anyone that needs to bring their pet to see a neurologist! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Sona at the front desk was so very nice and sweet. I unfortunately did not catch the tech's name who help lay my dog into my truck. Dr. Campbell was great in the ER. Losing a pet is never easy, but Dr.Campbell and his team tried to make my dog as comfortable as possible and gave me updates through out the night. He was very compassionate during the euthanasia process. And I'm very grateful for him. I do wish that someone would have offered a memorial keepsake, such as a paw print or something. I didn't even think of it at the time because I was so sad. And when I finally did remember it was too late.

We brought in beloved pup Moose with a potential major medical emergency and we were besides ourselves with concern. The staff was so caring and helpful to take us through our options and next steps. The Doctors were upfront and factual with us. The techs and front of office employees were all so sweet and helpful in every way! They helped keep him calm and wagging his tail in a super stressful situation. The office is clean and welcoming - spotless base boards in a vet office is quite the feat! While it didn’t turn out to be as horrible as we thought, they gave us a clear plan for next steps to getting our Moosie boy back to feeling better. Thank you all for your help 💕🐾🐶

I visited Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists in Hoffman Estate Illinois with my cat Max. Dr. Jack MacKenzie took care of my cat.
Very nice and friendly but mostly important very knowledgeable doctor.
Max has hyperthyroidism.
This was not our visit in the hospital. A year ago Max had pancreatic inflammatory, he was almost dying. Thanks to excellent doctors, technicians, front desk staff after 4 days in hospital he back home.
I am very grateful to the staff.
This is really the best place to take your cat or dog if they need help.
