Dr. Dupré has cared for my many dogs including personal and my police working dogs. He has always been caring, considerate and compassionate for the families who need to put their pets to rest. Although he never came to my home, I was always present when he administered the euthanasia to my dogs. He was kind to them and to me as he understands the heartbreak that someone goes through when they must euthanize a family pet. I recommend his services without reserve.

Dr. Dupre was kind and professional. His bedside manner was reassuring to our family and to Nemo, our dog. Nemo remained calm and felt no pain. It was a blessing that we were able to do the procedure in our own home, as Nemo was unable to travel. Six stars if I could.

Dr. DuPre has cared for all my animals and when it came time for my 16 year old cat to cross the rainbow he was there every step of the way. He explained the in home euthanasia in a way that was caring and understanding. I made the decision and he was supportive in his actions and even took care of everything after, including choosing my urn when I was emotionally unable to do so. I can’t thank him enough for taking care of everything after in a way that she will always be remembered.

Dr DuPre’ has taken the BEST care of my sweet Puggle - Sobe. He’s caring and has always taken the time to explain what was going on with her. When she became ill recently and I knew it was her time we turned to Dr DuPre’ for guidance.

The in-home pet euthanasia process provides a peaceful and loving end-of-life experience. I highly recommend Dr DuPre’.

CodaPet has made repeated requests for me to share my experience in a review.

The assigned Dr. was very kind and compassionate. For the most part, he did a good job. He was on time and he was pleasant.

The procedure itself was chaotic. The Dr. had to leave the room several times for various items after the process had gotten started. These items should have been within arms reach for the entire process. My friend was shaved in three places and, at one point, was positioned in such a way that would have been very uncomfortable for her and her respiration rate increased even though she was sedated. The first vein collapsed. When another vein was located the tourniquet was inadvertently left in place after the euthanasia was administered which sadly added to the chaos we experienced. I unfortunately did not have that peaceful opportunity to look into my friend's eyes, kiss her head, and say goodbye as I had hoped.

CodaPet sent several requests for this review. In fact, three days after my friend died CodaPet send me an email titled "Spreading the word" and requested a review to "get the word out" and "share my loss journey." I was asked specifically to use this phrase "in home pet euthanasia" obviously for the future profits for CodaPet. So, here it is: IN HOME PET EUTHANASIA.

Losing my friend was extremely tough but my loss was actually just starting to get better when I received a second review request from CodaPet. CodaPet sent me another review request exactly two weeks to the hour from the time I lost my friend if you can believe that, extremely distasteful and disrespectful. This email let me know how honored CodaPet was to be part of this difficult journey and reminded me to write a review, $$$ cha ching $$$

For the past few days since that last request, all I can think about is that last little bit of chaos and cry. The chaos of the Dr leaving the room multiple times for the additional supplies needed to complete the process. My friend's stiff little arthritic leg being pushed into her belly to evaluate a second vein after the first one collapsed. Shaving so many spots on her little arms and legs. The tourniquet being on for such a long time as additional supplies were gathered in the other room. My friend not going limp when the euthanasia was administered. Confusion. The tourniquet finally being noticed and released to allow the anesthesia overdose to move though her body. Losing my friend. Cradling her remains in my arms. Thank you for reminding me CodaPet, this WAS a difficult journey and it was incredibly uncompassionate to ask a grieving person more than once to write down their experience so that you can get the word out and grow your business. I am beyond upset that you would assume that I would want to share my 'loss journey' with anyone. That you would think it is ok to request an account of my loss a second time when your first request went unfulfilled. My regular vet would never have done such an unethical thing. You are persistent, so now you have an account of my painful experience, one I would have rather kept to myself. Please consider improving your public relations by sending out only one email, and at least one month post service, asking if, at some time, the person would consider posting a review. Accept that grieving people may not want to talk about their experience and don't drip on them if they want to keep their experience to themselves. It's a disgusting tactic.

Zainab, as a customber service rep I understand that you said "We will seriously consider your feedback in how we operate moving forward." I sincerely hope in the future you will refrain from asking anyone else more than once to review your services and that you only do so after an appropriate amount of time has passed for them to heal. However, since my request for the contact information of senior management went unanswered, I realized that the only way I might keep someone from having a similar experience was to do exactly what you asked and write a review. So here it is, I hope you feel my pain.
