There is no one program that is perfect for everyone ... but with that being said .... this program was a perfect match for my daughter. The program, the staff, the church they attend and the love demonstrated were all exceptional! They are tough on the girls but loving. Firm but fair. The Lord used this program to literally save my daughter's life. She did a lot of hard work and allowed them to help her. The student must be willing to be taught and held accountable and she did just that. It was hard, initially, to leave her there with people I did not know well but the alternative was leaving her as she was and waiting for one of her many suicide attempts to finally be successful and I was not willing to let they happen. Thank God for this staff and this program. I can not say enough good about them and would highly recommend this to girls in need. Feel free to reach out if you would like to talk.

Teen Challenge literally saved my life. I would have killed myself if not for Teen Challenge. Through the loving devotion of the staff, mr harley and ms lisa, they showed me the life that the Lord has for me. The biblical work we learn in school each day taught me that God isn't out to get me and waiting for me to mess up. He loves me and wants a relationship for me, and he has a purpose and plan for my life. God's way is so much better. I found my identity and purpose: being a child of God. I didn't have to look for my identity in anything else other than Jesus, and suddenly I had something to live for. Not just now but for all eternity. It's something no drug or person or feeling could ever recreate or come close to, and my whole mindset on life and my being changed in a way I could never know before. As ms lisa once said (something like this) "All of us are thirsty people in need of God's living water, we're just pointing you to river." The staff were so patient with me and never once gave up on me. They are such a good echo, example of living a life like Jesus. If your teenage girl is in a bad place, and you are worried for their safety and their soul, sending them here is the best thing for them. I'm so grateful for Teen Challenge!

Before getting into my experience, asking for help is not a failure. Asking for help shows strength and love in most cases and should not be feared. I will try to keep this short, but I am very passionate about this program and the people leading it. To be clear, these folks have taken on a responsibility that very few are willing or able to do. It is unrealistic to think they can do what they do for free, and it's simply not possible. Also, it is a faith-based program that goes by the whole bible and not just the pretty parts. On both of these points, I have personally seen these claims backed up with actions from the entire staff consistently. Also, they love everyone, but they do not love or condone the sin. With that being said, I can assure you that you will not find a better program that is designed for real and lasting change. Harley and Lisa will work with you; I know this firsthand. The entire staff is incredible, and you will not find people with more heart and care for the students and people in general. Over our time there, we became very connected to the staff and the program as a whole. If you find yourself in a place where you need help with your young daughter, as we did, I urge you to make the call and just start a conversation. I will offer anyone on the fence a more in-depth phone conversation to tell our story. I only ask that you call Harley and Lisa first, and they will be happy to pass your number on to me. If you've read all this, I was where you are right now, and I can relate. This is a fantastic program, and there is no guessing about the goals or how the program runs. I've known about Teen Challenge's good work for several years and I've been a financial supporter for the last 3 years. Harley, Lisa and the staff do a great job of working with the girls, helping them to overcome their problems and find peace through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. They are patient but firm as they model God's love for these precious girls.

I sent my daughter here in 2023. SHe had been dealing with extreme behavior problems, being extremely defiant, ran away several times. when she came back she was okay for a couple days. She then began to tell me about the immense traumas that she was put through in the program. She used to get bullied and taunted by several of the girls and it even became physical and I was never made aware of it while she was there. the staff there barely helped her while she not only told them about the events but they witnessed many of them. After a couple weeks back she went back to being the exact same as before she left. This program does nothing for your children. It does not teach them positive reform and if anything makes them much worse. I highly don NOT recommend.

sent my daughter to this place over a year ago. she came back worse then when she left. she was struggling with behavioral issues, sneaking out, etc. she came back traumatized. after moving past the trauma she’s more defiant then ever. this place is absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. do NOT send your kids here!!!!

With our culture doing so much damage to our teens it's wonderful that this ministry exists to win back those who have gone astray. Please support and pray for their efforts to bring love and truth to those who have been confused and adrift.
