Met the owner once & she was very polite & friendly. I also met Lisa who volunteered there & she was also very sweet and even assisted me in getting Bobo my runaway dog and also gave me a turtle to care for. Lucky Puppy has given a great opportunity for my gf & she loves it. She comes home everyday proud of the work that she does at Lucky Puppy. I am greatful for the opportunity they have given my gf. She has blossomed as a person & it has motivated her & encouraged her & take on more. I've heard nothing but good things. They have also given so much & it is all appreciated. You really have to love animals to work at Lucky puppy. It's definitely not for lazy people.

This rescue is a godsend to the community and dogs in need. The care is above and beyond. Sadly the numbers of abused/neglected/abandoned dogs just keeps rising and Lucky Puppy Rescue is the best reputable rescue around trying to save as many as they can!! Dogs receive medical care, training, and are eventually transported to the northeast to find loving forever homes. Definitely a proud supporter of this place!

The owner of this "rescue" is rude and arrogant. She's abusive to dogs and humans alike. If the dogs are cute and fluffy, designer type, she'll take them. But she won't help the ones truly in need. She has a vet come in and euthanize on site to avoid being seen doing it in the office. The finances at the place are ridiculous. Taking in over $700k with expenses under $10k?! You're getting rich off suffering animals! DISGUSTING!

Unfortunately I’ve fallen on hard times and, after exhausting every other effort, I made the tough call to surrender my dogs to a good shelter/rescue so they could find a better home. When I called Lucky Puppy, the lady I spoke to made some very rude (not to mention incorrect) assumptions about my current situation and then hung up on me when I tried to explain what was actually going on. I had previously heard good things from a few people but after the way I was treated I would never in a million years trust these people with my animals

So, just a heads up. If the strays are small and cute, THEN Lucky Puppy rescue will jump into action with less than an HOUR notice. The other day, not a single soul could help the sweet boy we rescued after hours of contacting every single rescue and shelter in the area-- including lucky puppy. They didn't even give me the courtesy of responding to my plea for help.
Beware of these rescues that are trying to make money by picking and choosing the lives they care about. So freaking disappointing.
