Our family is soooo grateful for Dr. Mary and her family and staff.. we felt like one of the family right away! They will be our forever vet! I never thought I would find another like Dr. Goza in Astoria Oregon we come from a small town amazing loving Dr... We found it and we are forever grateful!! Our fur babies are blessed!! Thank you guys for the loving attentive family environment we can't thank you enough! We had a great time playing with the animals that live at the clinic and hang at the clinic!!! We got kitten love while we waited our turn to see the Dr. What a treat ?

Although my kitty and I no longer live in Alaska,, I just wanted to say north Road veterinarian wellness clinic is going to be forever one of my favorite vets office . So wanted to mention the staff is very nice and they do have an affordable prices.

I always liked Dr. Hundorf, and was willing to drive out to Nikiski. She's also the lowest priced vet. Her clinic isn't fancy, and for the most part, the staff is nice. However, in recent visits, I've come to change my mind in that. The receptionist has never been the most friendly, and she was rude when I asked why my bill was so high and couldn't afford to pay it. Apparently when asked if my cat had a vaccine, that was giving permission to administer one. And wasn't asked if I wanted to pay for an ear treatment either. That was after waiting 30 minutes in a room and being transferred to another to wait even more. Needless to say, I will just pay more and go to one in town.

I had to come in as an emergency situation. I have a Canaan dog that had been sihad been having a seizure for over hours! I took her in and Dr. Mary knew exactly what was wrong and Rubee is now living a much better life. She still has small sizures once in great while. We've been taking our animals to her since she came out here. So much compassion from everyone who works there. If you want a vet that will treat your fur babies the way you would then you want Dr. Mary in Nikiski.❤️?

They are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.
They helped my cat on our first visit and then had to assist multiple times in getting some x-rays sent out to another vet.
Will definitely use them again.

I agree with previous poster’s reviews. While the Dr herself deserves all 5 stars, however, the billing practices do not. I was allowed to drop off my senior girl and be worked in that day and I am grateful for that. I was charged the emergency walk in rate, and that’s ok because the Dr is busy and squeezing in a client on a booked schedule for a life threatening emergency is understandable, but I was also charged a consultation fee on top of the other charges because I wanted to discuss the prognosis. For me, that doesn’t get the 5 stars. Discussing my dog’s care should be part of my vet visit charge, not an extra consultation fee that is nearly the cost of emergency rate. Despite my opinion, I still recommend her. She is knowledgeable and will seek recommendations from her colleagues if needed.
