Dr Dee is THE BEST !!!
She is our “Go To” every time we live in Fairbanks (the military moves us a lot).
We just got back after being in NC for 2 years. 3 vets there couldn’t figure out what’s wrong with our dog. Multiple vet appointments, medications etc but he / his skin got worse ?!
1! visit at Dr Dee’s and he’s back to how he was before we moved to NC ?!?! He wants to play fetch again, runs around and the main thing, he’s not licking and biting himself anymore !!!
Hopefully Dr Dee stays in business as long as we’re stationed up here !

We had to put our baby down on 2/24/20 Dr Dee was very compassionate. She went beyond the call of duty. I've been going to her for years. She has always been honest and reasonable with her prices. She is very knowledgeable in her field of work. She knows animals inside and out. She is the only one I let see my babies!!!!!!!!

Dr. Dee is amazing! She was able to diagnose what another vet was unable to and even did the surgery on our dog the next day!

Something has fallen off a cliff at Animal House. Had pretty decent care and service there until it just….stopped. Appointments had to be changed, unwanted sales pitches, all our dogs ended up sick from the treats given there, and finally, the lack of communication and worse, the complete inability the get in touch with anyone at all to make an appointment for second shots for our pup and more for our older dogs. Six separate phone calls at different times of the day with NONE of them during the “closed” lunch hour. What business in its right mind closes during lunch hour when a lot of people only have that time to conduct business?
Hard to figure with random times on different days that our timing was consistently so poor that we couldn’t make contact.
There’s a couple other items about the Dr. and staff that I’ll leave out for sake of benefit of the doubt.
This that you’ve read is the rarest of the rare because I NEVER do reviews on anything. I just quit using a business or service and again, give the benefit of the doubt because someone was having a bad day or week. Not here. Too consistently messed up to be a coincidence or isolated problem.
All in all, a very negative experience all around. Won’t be going back there ever.

Love them a lot! I’m newer to the area and needed a lot of help with my dogs paperwork and needed a good vet! I’m so glad I found them when I did! The vet told me everything I needed to know about my baby! They are very understanding and love to make sure you are fully aware of everything!

Scheduled shots for our puppies a month in advance only to be told day of appointment that the doctor is out of town servicing other dogs needs and that we had to reschedule with literally zero notice just a few hours before our appointment. And no thanks I will be taking my pups elsewhere at this point you are unreliable to me and I have no need for your services. You would think after all these years of being in business one would not practice such irresponsible business practices. I will be passing the info along.

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure I knew what was going on every step of the way. I got my cat vaccinated and neutered.

Hi, I have never been to this veterinary hospital before as I’m miles away from Alaska (i am in Johannesburg, South Africa) I am writing this review based on the tv series that I enjoyed watching, Dr. Dee has made an amazing impact on my career of studying veterinary medicine majoring in mixed animal. I wish I could intern with Dr Dre when the time come for medical internships, it’s going to be difficult as I am here in South Africa and she is all the way in Alaska. However, I will always ask her for advice when needed.
