I’m so glad I started bringing my dog here. His confidence (and mine) around other dogs has significantly increased and Maddy always goes above and beyond to give him special attention to ensure his success at play school. The staff are all so kind to my boy and it means the world to me.

This place is amazing. My pup Trixie goes to play school 2x per week. They help her work on agility and socialization. Trixie comes home happy and tired. We have also used their training services when Trixie was a puppy. Michael is FABULOUS with the dogs. It is a lovely family business. The employees really love dogs. It’s Trixie’s happy place when away from home

Your Dog’s Guru transformed our wild beast into an attentive dog! They not only taught him better manners, but helped me better understand how to coach him to the best results and (try to) stay consistent. PS I’ve been a dog owner for more than 50 years and this guy had already graduated top of his class from puppy school a few years ago, but he’s very smart and athletic. Now I have tools for us to enjoy each other so much better.

YDG literally changed our lives 3 years ago. When my daughter was born we were told by family, friends and our own vet (while crying in the office with us) that we would have to put our 5yo dog down or give him away because of his aggression towards the baby...enter YDG with an initial home visit and subsequent on site training and our dog is not only still with us but my daughters best friend. I tell everyone I can about this amazing business and their caring staff. I take both my dogs there twice a week for play school and they literally vibrate with excitement. The yard staff give me updates at pick up, tell me about the day and dote on my furr babies with nicknames. It is the only place we have been able to board our dogs for a vacation and it has been life changing to have that safe, affordable option. Both our dogs had aggression issues and destructive tendencies before YDG and now they are social and approachable which is a peace of mind I never dreamed of having while out in public. YDG has NEVER made me feel that they care about my money, I feel a part of their community and truly believe my family's life would be significantly different if I had not taken a chance on them. If I could rate higher than five I would!!

I recently rescued a 3 year old Bernese that needed training. On the recommendation of a client I took my dog to Michael and Annie. It was very impressive to watch them work. Their patience and understanding while training my dog and the training suggestions they gave me have transformed my dog and instilled the behavior I was looking for. I will never use anyone else .

This is the best play school and day care ever for your dogs! The owners/ trainers Michael and Annie are the nicest and sweetest people ever. My Golden Retriever has been going to play school there for 3 years since she was a puppy. Their staff play and work with the dogs and they all have a ball! My Golden loves being there and comes home with her unbelievable energy being quite deleted for the night which makes for a good relaxing evening for me. The area is beautiful and large, and they have multiple staff working every day. They take great care of every single pup. I already have multiple friends bringing their dogs there from my recommendations! And the price is very reasonable for the hours.

Mike, Annie, and the entire team are THE BEST. For the past 11 years they have been helping with my two labs. At first, I came to Mike to help train my dogs. They worked one on one and also in a group setting. Whenever I need to board my dogs, they are the ONLY people I would trust with my dogs, and really gives me peace of mind!

I would recommend Your Dog's Guru to anyone seeking dog training or who is looking for a fun and safe place to board your dog(s)! Simply the best.
