I would love to see if they have a volunteer program. We all know that the work they do in general is helping our wildlife and our beautiful earth. I think I will call next time for hours of operation.

My cat brought me another baby squirrel, which I rescued before he became a meal. Vet Tech at my vet took the previous baby to care for at home since they didn't do rescue/rehab there. She was off today and unreachable. Spoke w Taylor at Wildlife Rescue in Seminole who took the little guy and he felt very confident he could save and fully restore him to health. Even tho he went w/o nourishment for 2 days and minor bite wound. Taylor was great,very informative and a nice guy !

This is such a surreal experience lol. I walked past this place when walking my dog and I couldn’t believe it. 10 years ago there was a bear and monkeys. They take all types of animals here. It’s so cool what they are doing helping these animals and getting a glimpse of these amazing creatures is soooo cool.

Highly recommended! Found the sweetest baby raccoon that was missing an eye. We would have loved to take her in. Unfortunately, we do not have the time or space for her to grow up and be a real raccoon. We brought her to Wildlife Rescue & Rehab; amazing facility! The director, Vernon, runs a beautiful operation. He has a true passion and heart for animals and nature. Makes me happy to know she is in a great place that will take care of her. We should all be a bit more like Vernon.

I get that you probably get a ton of different calls, But… you could’ve been a little nicer when I called asking if you guys picked up possums that looked sickly and was in my front yard in the middle of the day. I grew up in the country and I’m used to seeing these animals at night, my fear was that it could’ve been rabid or really sick and I don’t want that around my kids. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We called Vernon and asked if he would take 2 domestic rats that needed help. Without hesitation he said to bring them over. This was our first time meeting Vernon. He is legit and tells it like it is. Super cool guy. Clearly this man deeply cares about animals and their well being for that he's got my respect for sure. Thanks alot for what you do

This will be the third bunny that my cat has brought home as a gift and they always take the rabbit in no matter What condition it's in and so that is a plus for me cuz I don't want any animal to suffer. If you think the animal is too far gone, just bring it in. Every animal is important🐾♥️🕊

Clearly you can look at my Google reviews and see that I don’t post many, but I simply have to post one here after watching the nonsense that the big cat rescue… Carol Baskin has said about this place and this man!
ITS WRONG! EVERYONE FROM HERE KNOWWWWS THIS MAN AND what HE does for OUR COMMUNITY AND THE ANIMALS!
Carol baskin is on the other side of the bridge over there in Tampa, and she should probably stay there! Because I guarantee you if you talk to anyone In Pinellas County they know exactly who this man! is and what he does for the community not just the animals!
I am 37 years old and have known about this place and Not only Because the entire neighborhood knows about this gem of a place again it’s like a hidden gem to us!
There has been countless amount of times that I have heard from local TV and radio that this man is the one that THEY call for help!
BECAUSE HE KNOWS WHAT HES DOING!
Maybe some of you think he has an attitude!
BUT Our community THAT KNOWS..... LOVES AND is SO THANKFUL FOR all this man has done and continues to do!!!
Maybe everyone would like him better if he got on social media every day and open up his “sanctuary“ every day and put on a big old circus hat or something and introduce all of these animals that have already been through hell, maybe he should’ve took more of a Carol Baskin approach......

because well… He has never chose to turn his “sanctuary” into a theme park!
Law enforcement loves this man and SO DOES HIS COMMUNITY!
