My boyfriend and I have been using Westinn Kennels at the Dardenne Prairie location for over two years now and I can't believe I've not left a review before today. I can't speak highly enough about this location!

Day one, we reached out to them about our extremely shy and fearful rescue, Mariah. We let them know she needed a long adjustment period and a lot of TLC and that we eventually wanted to board her as we had planned a vacation later that year. From that day forward, we visited over and over again just so that the kennel manager could sit on the floor with Mariah and feed her cheese while she tucked her tail and hid behind us. She met all the staff members and every person we met was incredible. They were all so kind and patient.

Eventually we built up to leaving her for half a day, then a whole day, then boarded her. After two years, she might as well be a different dog when it comes to daycare. Even though she's still afraid of people, she is NEVER afraid at daycare. She's happy, carefree, and excited to go every single time. Every time she gets in the car she's excited because she assumes it's daycare - and when we arrive she nearly jumps out the window to get to the staff!

All the staff know her by name and make it clear each and every time how much they care about her. I truly can't imagine trusting anyone else with her and I can't thank them enough for their hard work, love, and patience for my timid rescue.

We recently also got a puppy and I truly can't wait for him to start his relationship with Westinn too. He'll be going for puppy play dates and eventually daycare when he's old enough. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at Westinn!!! ❤️❤️❤️

My dog is comfortable going there and doesn't seem to be uncomfortable at all which is a huge plus! Ususally she is jumpy or wants to stay close to me always. This last time she was willing to go without a fight and seems to enjoy herself and looks pretty and smells good when she comes home. Thanks for taking care of my pretty girl!

I have taken my dogs here for years and have always been happy with the care they receive. My dogs seem to love it too! As soon as they see me packing up their food, they get super excited.

I guess it’s hit or miss with this place. We used them a lot over the last few years, sometimes good, sometimes bad. A bit pricey though especially when they charge for a day even when you pick up your dog right at open. I couldn’t pick up my dog yesterday since it was the only day they close at 2pm and when I got there a few minutes before opening today I was greeted with rudeness. Instead of “good morning sir I’ll be right with you”, I was greeted with “we are not even open yet and those people in their car was here first so you’ll have to wait!” Wow! I was just standing there waiting patiently and didn’t need to be spoken to like that. Then I guess I didn’t get my wallet out fast enough because I was literally told 4 times I needed to pay when the dog wench wasn’t even ready to take my payment until several minutes after I gave her my card. Unbelievable, not everyone is cut out to work with the public. To top it off I’m given an empty food container, so somehow my 15lb dog who barely eats once a day ate a full container of dog food in a week

Being from out of town and traveling with my senior dachshund, I called Westinn for day care while we toured the city. They were able to accommodate on a few hours notice. I was very impressed with their professionalism and care of my dachshund. In order to know her better, They asked many questions about her temperament, care and habits. When I picked her up, my dachshund was not anxious. She’ obviously had a good time. I was also pleased with the reasonable rate. I highly recommend this business.

Absolute great first experience there with my pup Beau. He attended puppy daycare and had a blast. The staff was extremely nice and let me know how he did and returned all his belongings. So glad I found a safe place for my pup that is close to home.
