I’ve never conducted business with them, but I am a dog owner, & i do know that I never will either. Yesterday I was walking to an event right next door and I could hear the staff (from the street) screaming, aggressively at the dogs. Demanding they shut up, sit, go away. It was two people a lady and a gentlemen. On Saturday, Aug 31st around 5:30pm. Yes dogs were obviously barking but the way they were carrying on the only way that’s acceptable is if you're breaking up a dog fight. I can guaranteed they would not talk to these dogs like that in front of their owners, I would have to leave my pup here while I’m on vacation.

It was bad enough to make me write this post. And I’m gonna be honest I get it, I yell at my dog all the time, but it’s my dog. If you can’t comprehend that and you don’t hold the emotional ability to not yell and scream at animals for acting like animals then you need to find a new job.

5/5 in my book. Had no other choice but to bring my Siberian husky, Felix to Georgia for 5 weeks with me for work. Five days a week 630-3 he spent the day there and left exhausted, would crash in the hotel for the night. Great staff, every morning we’d walk in, his ears would fold back and he’d get super excited! First time ever bringing him to a day care. We are from New York and it was just a great experience for him and me. Thank you to all the staff for everything..upper west side

Took great care of our daughters dogs while we were away for two weeks. Being able to see the dogs in the yard was comforting. The staff there seemed to genuinely love the dogs and toom good care of them.

This place is incredible. They have so much flexibility with their early morning drop offs (6:30 am on weekdays). In comparison, most doggy daycares open at 7 am, which is too late for some healthcare workers like myself. Above all, it’s clean and my dog is happy every time she goes.

When our normal groomer was unable to fit us in before the holidays, we ended up going to Wag-A-Lot for the first time because they had availability and I had seen the good reviews online. I thought it was a little weird that for grooming, you just drop off your dog early in the morning (between 6-9am) rather than having a specific appointment time but didn't think much of it because my dog was in need of a haircut.

I can only speak for the grooming service but I had a negative experience and will not be going back. I dropped my dog off at 8am as they requested and by 2pm, I was worried because I didn't know when exactly he'd be done, if he had been let out, etc. I understand there's a queue for the groomer so it takes time, but hearing no updates and not knowing what my dog is doing the 6ish hours before I called was a little concerning. When I called around 2 to quickly check in, I was told the groomer was working on my dog. I said great, thanks for the update and the concierge confirmed that she would call me when he was done. Fast forward to past 5pm and I haven't heard anything about picking up my dog so I called them again. Concierge tells me that he's been done....but I had never received that call they said they would give me when he was ready for pickup. I was a little irritated that they had forgotten to call me that my dog was ready to be picked up. At this point, he had been at Wag-A-Lot for 9+ hours which didn't sit right for me.

When I got to Wag-A-Lot to pick up my dog, they at first, brought out the wrong dog. Then when I did get my dog back, the overall cut was disappointing. I had tried to give clear instructions on what I wanted and the person helping me had taken notes and let me know that if the groomer had questions, they would call me. The most glaring problem was the random chunks of extra long eyelashes on both eyes and the overall cut was choppy.

Overall, Wag-A-Lot Westside was not the right place for us and their grooming appointment system is not the right fit. I prefer an actual appointment time rather than a drop-off/queue system. The price of the groom itself was more expensive than any groom appointment we've ever had and definitely was not worth it.

I have boarded my two dogs here on several occasions. I have noticed in the past that they are extremely thirsty when they arrive home. At first I thought it was just from excitement. But on this most recent pick up occasion, I could clearly see three empty dog bowls in the dog area. It was more smelly than usual and there were multiple puddles of urine that were not being cleaned up. Unfortunately, I cannot say that they are understaffed, because there were four staff members sitting around in the lobby waiting area--- not exactly sure what their roles were. That being said, the quality is overall declining for the price we pay. It's likely our turn to look for a new boarding facility.

Initially dropped my dog off to get groomed but it, unexpectedly (due to my schedule), turned into an afternoon at daycare too.

I called to check in and let them know I would be later than I originally thought and they assured me Duke was in good hands. That he was!

The staff was friendly and their facilities are clean. I’ve used then once before this and also had a great experience then as well.

I would recommend wag-a-lot upper Westside for those in the area! We will be returning!

Went here for two years and loved it in the past but I have noticed a decrease in quality (paired with a price increase no less) to the point where I no longer go. They were short staffed one day so put dogs of all sizes together without any warning, and there was an altercation between by dog and another. My dog isn't blame free, she can get overly defensive, but she never has problems when she's kept with dogs her size, which is how it should be and what is advertised. The service time to pick up and drop off my dog has also gotten longer, and I know someone who had their completely reservation lost. I also know someone who had their dog lost, they didn't write anything down so she had to describe what her dog looked like to try and find her in the back. All of these indicate that this location is unfortunately just not as well run as it used to be, and not worth the price anymore.
