Wag has been a complete life saver for us!! We had stumbled across it after some not great experiences using people from rover and I'll never go back!

Our dog Theo LOVES Wag! He knows where he is when we pull up to the parking lot and doesn't even say bye before we drop him off because he's so excited to play with his friends! The facilities are very clean and kept up, all the employees are great with the dogs and I trust them wholeheartedly with our fur baby. I don't feel worried about boarding him here at all and I really appreciated the chance to take a free tour around the facilities before we decided to take Theo here.

It was really hard for us to leave him at first because we were worried about how he'd do and the attention/care he'd receive, but since Wag has the option of getting cameras in the dog's room as well as sharing live feed during all day play sessions we felt safe leaving him. They also send a few photos per day of your dog. Theo always looks so happy! After the first visit we were all hooked and NEVER stress about taking him there. So grateful to be able to take our dog to a place that truly cares about the animals and feels safe. They are open 24/7 which makes for easy pick up/drop off whenever your flight is, and you can call at any time of day to check on your dog.

It was my first time dropping off my pup for overnight stay. The staff were so welcoming and made both Milo and I feel safe and comfortable. The constant play with other dogs and extras like splash time was the icing on the cake! Will definitely use them again.

My husband and I love Wag Hotels. The very first time we dropped off our dog for the all day play daycare we were so nervous, but now we feel so comfortable dropping him off here! We had a wonderful experience at Santa Monica Wag. The staff is truly outstanding and care so much for the pets. They took amazing care of our dog. They were attentive to her medical needs, administered her medications appropriately, followed directions to prepar her fresh food, and gave her so much love and attention. I am very impressed with the quality of care and will definitely be using them in the future. Thank you so much, Wag, for making it easier to leave my furbaby behind in such great hands. ❤️

This was Juliette's first trip to Wag's and I was pleased that the clerk at the desk greeted me promptly and even more pleased that they already had a tag made with her name stating the this was her first day. When I picked up Juliette, the clerk provided a summary of Juliette's day saying that they observed she loves people more than dogs. Since I know this to be true of her, I felt that the caregiver had paid attention to her. I plan to board Juliette at Wags in the near future and feel comfortable about doing that

I can’t say enough nice things about my first experience at Wags. I was hesitant as my dog does not normally do boarding, but they made it so easy and gave me peace of mind while I traveled. I love that they are open 24 hours and flexible with changing plans. Everyone was cheerful and sweet and you could truly see their love for animals. I had her stay in this adorable suite set up like a bedroom with TV and all. They read her bedtime stories and gave her bedtime treats. I could check in on her suite camera at any time and they sent pictures multiple times a day while she was in the play area. The facility itself was immaculate and constantly cleaned. I very much recommend this to anyone that is hesitant to board at a facility. We will be back.

We've been bringing our pup Sofie here for about two months now (all day play, as well as a week long boarding stay). The staff are friendly and courteous and I appreciate the detail and attention to ensuring messes in the play yard are swiftly cleaned. They play with the pups and give them cuddles during the day, and our pup Sofie enters in the mornings with her tail wagging, going to great whoever is at the front desk. When I pick her up she digs her heels in, not wanting to leave the parking lot. lol.

Once in awhile there are big dogs in the small yard (as I understand dogs are placed based on temperament), but there have been a few dogs who were quite rambunctious and could potential (accidentally) hurt a small pup during routine play just due to their size. The staff keep an eye out for things getting a bit rough and usually separate the dogs, which is great. Our pup Sofie had one or two bigger dogs that played a bit rough with her recently and when I mentioned it to staff they added a note to Sofie's file to keep an extra close eye on her (she'll instigate play but doesn't realize what she's getting into).

Overall we are happy to take our pup to Wag and appreciate the love she gets when she's there 🙂

I've been taking my small dog here for boarding for over a year and he LOVES it! He's spent as few as 2 nights and as many as nearly 2 weeks here. The staff is attentive and caring. I get regular photos every day during play time and a verbal report when I pick him up. When I first started going to Wag, they gave me a walk through of the facility including the area with the overnight rooms. I like that there are actual rooms rather than crates or box kennels on top of each other like some other places. The outdoor play area has misting machines, shade, and a staff member supervising. I don't regularly use the camera features or medication administration, so I can't speak to that. For a simple stay with socialization and human care, I rate Wag 5 stars.
