I normally never do this but I felt it was important to know what kind of people you will be dealing with here. My mom went in last week to adopt a dog, they accused her of being someone else the entire time saying she called and has a dog already (she does not have a dog she lost her cane corso In march of this year.) on top of all that they also lied to them saying to call today 10/22/2024 to adopt the dog because it was the first day he was available for adoption after surgery. Well come to find out they adopted him out this weekend. Everyone has a right to refuse service which I understand and respect but you don’t have a right to accuse people of lying, and discriminate against them because you THINK they are someone else. Very very disappointing and outraged people conduct business like this. Your main goal is to get dogs to good homes not play petty games. Also it was Melanie and Christina.

I donated wet and dry dog food and blankets. The only thing is while I was there, I wanted too see a dog for possible adoption. They said I could not because a certain person was not there. I would have thought it would have been easier to see the dogs for possible adoption. I had the time too adopt a dog when I was there. Usually really busy and do not have time. Really disappointed.

My kitten came from here, he was fostered at a friend's where I met him. The process was easy when I got there, even tho reading the reviews I was a little worried. I am glad we got Finn, he's a super neat kitten.

They worked with us getting our four dogs back that had gotten out and picked up by the sheriff. Shelter manger is very nice!

+JMJ...This is a WONDERFUL shelter!! Staff and volunteers are very friendly and have a deep devotion and dedication to the animals housed in the shelter.
UPDATE: Saturday, 8 October 2022. Stopped by to make videos. Too early to be allowed into facility. But, very happy to see two dog walker volunteers. These are some compassionate, happy people. Also, peeking into facility, I could see they have a number of carriers and pet bedding for sell. I will return soon to make purchases. Blessings to all animal rescuers.

I really wanted to volunteer for this shelter but their staff is unkind and condescending. I won’t go VOLUNTEER my time to go around people that don’t have manners. Sad. I was really looking forward to helping out after hearing about it but oh well,

I am a volunteer. Everyone is so wonderful. They have so many great dogs and cats.
The staff really takes care of these animals. They have so much compassion and love.
