I have been meaning to write a review for awhile. I can not begin to say how much I appreciate everyone at VCA Schaumburg Hospital. Everyone has been great from the moment you step into the door to the moment you leave at the end of the visit. You can tell they care about you and your fuzzy family member. I like to add the vet who has helped me with my cat Oreo, Dr. Nicolas Heidtbrink, has been fantastic. He is an older cat and has a start of some health concerns. He made sure Oreo got the proper care he needs, and he also put me at ease with all of my concerns and questions that I had. I switched over from my last vet, and I am very happy I did. Thank you everyone. ❤️

VCA Schaumburg Animal Hospital is amazing! They got our dog, Ghost, in on super short notice and we so appreciated the free first visit! Dr. Duran was so kind and helpful in giving us different food options to help our dog gain weight. 100% recommend taking your dogs here! After our great experience my family will be taking our other dogs here too!

This was my first visit to the VCA Animal Hospital and it was a great experience. My Lulu was there for an annual exam and a couple vaccinations. Dr. Pfeiffer and her staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and gentle and caring with my dog. Also, the wellness exam was free since it was our first visit.

When we walked in, the first thing we noticed is how clean everything looked/smelt. It was the first time we were taking one of our cats there and there was a little sign in the lobby welcoming us 🙂 The front desk attendants were very welcoming and helpful with all of our paperwork and questions. The vet tech and veterinarian we met with were kind and personable. They answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of tips to help our cats. We've been to a couple of veterinarians in the area, trying to decide which is the best and we've decided to stay with VCA!!

I have a 4 month old german shepherd and sometimes he can be a big baby. I’ve been having good experiences since my first visit, they take good care of my pup. The staff try to make him feel comfortable so he doesn’t freak out, which I love. They’re patient, caring, and professional.

Dr. Niko and the staff are professional and welcoming to all the pets and families. I have been using this veterinarian practice for many years and find they are always consistent and knowledgeable with pet medicine and new procedures. When Dr. Niko diagnosed my dog, he took the time to explain his findings so I understood better and the care she needed. This animal hospital is always spotless!!!! It shows how they care!

I typically never write reviews but this vet clinic is absolutely HORRIBLE! First of all my one cat got his mouth stuck around a towel hook. After this incident we immediately went in for a check up just to make sure he was okay. The veterinarian there said he was fine. After leaving we further inspected my cat and realized he had a hole in his neck. As a veterinarian how do you miss something like this? They clearly aren’t doing thorough check ups or they obviously would have realized the huge hole in his neck. He ultimately recovered because of a great vet in deerfield. Secondly our new vet was unable to see my 2nd cat so we went to this place again unfortunately because it was our only option at this point. My cat lost several pounds and was throwing up constantly. They did blood work and x-rays on him and came to the conclusion that it was the food he was eating. So we changed his food but he continued to worsen after a day or two so again we took him to the emergency vet in deerfield. Unfortunately we found out he had cancer and had a huge lump on his stomach which again this vet didn’t realize at all. Overall horrible experience i don’t recommend this place what so ever.
