Horrible staff, the tech was miserable and the front office staff was not helpful or kind. The vet was ok, he seemed worn out and tired but knowledgeable & attentive. When they came to get my very sweet but obviously scared 2 year old puppy they just dragged her; no greeting, petting or treats, just overall no bedside manner. Then at the end when I asked a question 3 times in 3 different ways got no clear answer, so much so the lady at the front office tried to ask and got the same response. Not sure if the tech didn’t understand the question because of language barrier or was just checked out, overall very poor experience. The costs were insane for shots and a routine visit. I’m new to LA area but have lived all over the country in big cities and it was 3 times higher and felt they were nickel and dimming me each turn.

The costs alone would have been a big issue as it’s super convenient, but the bedside manner and staff was overwhelmingly bad, easily the worse experience ever with a vet.

Also, had my appointment for my other dog cancelled last minute, decided to go elsewhere. Horrible scheduling as well.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Doane for years and love her. If Dr. Doane is out I feel completely confident in the other vets on staff. I have only good things to say about the support staff, they are friendly and caring. The facility is clean and the cost is competitive. I’ve referred a couple friends and they’ve been happy as well.

The staff at this location are extremely rude and seem overworked/stressed. They frequently reschedule appointments last-minute and try to sneakily charge the pet owners extra. You can make an appointment for shots, then they'll charge extra for an exam for example (when no real exam happened.) Get your medications online, they overcharge for those as well. Will not be returning, it's highway robbery for the undereducated or less experienced pet owner.

I just brought my cat Oliver here for the first time and I am so happy with the care he received from Dr. Doane and team. The office is friendly and helpful every time I’ve called with questions, needed help, or to schedule an appointment. I’m VERY happy!

My doggy is 12 and she's been loved and cared for by this team since she was a baby. They have super safe procedures in place for covid. It's the care that is above and beyond!!! She looks great and feels good to after her check up.

I definitely recommend that you do NOT use this veterinary office. Dr. Doane is the most amazing vet, however they clearly have a patient load that they cannot appropriately handle. For the last few years, every single time I called, including recently so it’s not due to Covid, I could not get an appointment for my dog, even if it was a semi emergent situation and even though both my dogs have been with them for years. After pressuring them, the best offer I would ever get is “ fibe, drop your dog off at 7 AM, we will leave her in a crate until lunchtime, and the doctor will take a look at her at her convenience during lunch”. This makes no sense to me as I told them each time, I was willing to come in during the 2 hour lunch break and wait with my dog either in the car or in their waiting room so that she doesn’t have to be kept in a cage. They would not accommodate that. In my opinion, that’s animal cruelty for an animal who is 15 years old and never been in a cage in her life. No regard for the animals!! My dream is that Dr. Doane goes out on her own because she would have quite the following!
