ZERO EMPATHY, RUDE AND NEGLEGENT CARE. We went to get our very sick puppy to get checked, since he hadn't eaten or drank anything in 30 hours. We were worried it would be Parvo considering the breed, but when we got there the Vetenarian had no compassion whatsoever. He told us the chances of him having Parvo is low because of his age, but they would do the testing. We explained that he is very scared/ anxious and he ended up freaking out from the vet reaching very quickly to grab ahold of him, & immediately was told that they "can't take a dog like this" and even told us to if we try to bring him back there they would outright refuse treatment. Now it's one day later and we had to go to a different hospital and HE IS POSITIVE FOR PARVO, so we have to pay over 5k for hospitlization or put him down which we refuse to do. Even with hospitalization, it is a 60 percent chance of him not making it due to this not getting caught in time!!! WISH TO PUT ZERO STARS!! THIS IS STRAIGHT NEGLEGENT CARE, AND ZERO URGENCY THAT HAS KILLED OUR DOG. UPDATE- We would be suing your office if we had the funds in all honesty.You guys are quite lucky we now have 6k in medical bills for this, and we can't get the justice MY DEAD BABY BOY DESERVES. He didn't even make it past a year old.

Wonderful experience today at VCA Desert Dunes. I noticed my cat was acting a bit off and likely needed medical care. I didn’t have an appointment but they were able to get me in right away. The experience calmed my nerves and my cat was well taken care of. The staff and vet were so kind, helpful, and I highly recommend this facility if your pet is in need of good care. Roxy is already feeling better!

Can't even say enough good things about this animal hospital. My dog was very sick and I could not find an open appointment anywhere. Desert Dunes told me they were booked solid but to bring my dog Oliver to the hospital and wait in the car with him I was told they couldn't guarantee the visit but if they found anytime they would tell me to bring him in and I may wait hours. Of course I rushed to the hospital where I waited not even an hour before they took Oliver in. Like always they took such good care of him. The Dr. Called me several times to keep me updated on Oliver These people at Desert Dunes truly love your animal and guaranteed your pet will receive the best medical treatment you can find. First time coming here. I had called 5 different places and nobody wanted to see my 12 week little kittens and this was the ONLY place who were nice enough to accept us as new patients. Even though i didnt have an appointment i came as a walk in. I parked and called to let them know i was outside. They right away took my kittens in.
Dr Connor was THE BEST! Talking to him on the phone was amazing. He was thorough and actually CARED! For everything vaccinations and examination for the two kittens was $400. I actually thought the prices were decent this also including two blood tests and two medications.
Im definitely going to stay with them! Great Staff! Great doctor! Great care

They are so understanding and caring and compassionate. They saved my cat Marisa's life when she was 3 she's 15 years old now. The staff is so kind and knowledgeable. I have developed a great rapport with Dr. Brockmeier and Amber. in my opinion Dr. Brockmeier is the best veterinarian in the valley. And I've seen a few. And Amber is the most knowledgeable kind and helpful assistant. I highly recommend Desert Dunes animal hospital!!! This is Marisa and Charlie who they've taken care of for over a decade

We had our cat examined and spayed here, everything went well and we felt that our little girl was treated with compassion and returned to us safely. We felt well informed and confident that our little baby would not be in pain. Also, they have the cutest puppy shrubbery ever!

Too busy to see our pets. We've taken our two dogs to this vet since they were pups. Today, with an urgent tummy problem, they tell me they cannot see 'urgent' patients for two weeks!! Wouldn't even try to work her in if there were a cancellation. "The snowbirds are here so we are much too busy - here's a number to try to see if someone else can see your dog sooner." No apology, no concern, just bothered that they had to take my phone call! So don't bother making this place your primary provider for your pets - why bother when they can't make room for their most loyal patients. Congratulations on your 'business success'.
