Great experience with the care provided by VCA Aurora and Dr. Peacock. We are super happy with the quality ACL surgery, post surgical care and thorough discharge instructions they provided. After the typical 3 month recovery, our dog is 100% and been given the approval to play off leash. Thank you!!

My baby boy, Leroy Jethro, wasn't feeling good I brought him here.

Staff was very wonderful and we're able to explain everything they found. They were very straight-forward and loved on my boy while in their care.

The only downside is the expense. Giving four stars because I wish there was a pricing list on the website to know what the cost could possibly be.

We are so thankful to Dr. Mitchell and the entire team at VCA Aurora for the care, compassion, honesty, and professionalism they showed us and our pug Emma. Dr. Mitchell worked directly with our veterinarian and upon arrival at the emergency clinic Emma was taken immediately for evaluation. Dr. Mitchell worked with a team of doctors from different specialties to quickly diagnose Emma's condition. We also appreciated the follow-up email and offer of additional support we received from Dr. Medinger. The team at VCA Aurora was exceptional and appreciated during an exceedingly difficult time.

REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE.. We took are puppy of 2 months old because he accidentally was pinned under are car wheel and the pressure pushed out his rectum. They told us that he wouldn't survived because his lungs were so bruised and he was so little, the bill was 4,000 to start the surgey and 6,000 to release him the vet kept insisting that euthanized would be a better option.. They performed the surgey he was put on a ventilator the same night, the following day he was breathing on his own the surgey was a success, he was a fighter back to his normal self but the NEGLIGENCE of the staff, vets, specialist, are puppy became positive for the virus PARVO while in their "care" he became real sick and lost a lot of weight. On The six day he was released to us but oh yeah first pay up! That's really what they care for 10,000 woww outrageous we just wanted are puppy to get better specially my kids. "TORO" was not the same they gave us a puppy in real bad shape unfortunately he passed away on the fifth day of been with us the medication did not help.. Are little ANGEL received his wings..🥹😢

We had a wonderful experience at VCA. Our dog had a torn ACL and Dr. Jessica Corrie was wonderful about explaining everything that needed to be done and what all was involved for our dogs surgery. Afterwards, she explained the surgery and when we did the follow up visit, she also explained things. The entire staff there were very courteous and helpful. I felt our dog was always in good hands.

Early December my dog was diagnosed with a cancerous mast cell tumor. Our personal vet referred us to VCA for further treatment.

My first appointment at VCA I was very worried and nervous as I've never gone through this process with my dog before. They made it so comfortable. From the phone call, to checking in, to the actual appointment. I was greeted with overly friendly attitudes and my worry began to melt.

Fast forward 1 month from the diagnosis and my dog is cancer free! They removed the mast cell tumor via surgery and sent him home the next day with meds.

They even scheduled a FREE follow-up appointment to make sure everything was going well 2 weeks post op.

I will say this process was not cheap, however I truly believe VCA provided unmatched care and would highly recommend them to anyone needing care for their animal.

The VCA in Aurora is a NEGATIVE STAR, but that doesn’t exist so I had to pick one star! I have been picking up my dog’s prescription food there for well over 5 months now and just about every other time I go there they tell me they need a written prescription for the food….which exists in their system because when I started picking up the food there I had to bring in the prescription and they scanned it and added it to our account. There is zero excuse why I should ever be told this, but to make the whole situation better I currently have very bad pneumonia and asked my brother to go pick up the food for me when he arrived not only was he treated with complete and total disrespect he was not asked any pertinent questions to get information that they needed to assist him. When he was told that he needs a prescription to pick up this food for my dog, he called and let me know and I said no problem, I will go take care of it. I went over to VCA mind you I have pneumonia that is extremely painful and makes it very hard to breathe not to mention the cold weather we are having I had to leave the house with a raging fever and a difficult time breathing to go into the VCA to get the food and told them what had happened at that point, I’m not sure if it was the manager that I had asked for or if it was just another one of their Staff, but she started arguing and talking over me while tell me telling me they can’t beg people to come back to help them. Needless to say, I will never be going back there again, and I will never ever refer anyone to use them even in a life or death situation. I would suggest finding another clinic to take care of their animal. That is how highly I think of their services. I hope you are all proud of yourselves for providing the most disgusting disrespectful and downright implore-able behavior displayed by your employees and the company as a whole. I hope you are embarrassed.

We were faced with a very unexpected nightmare situation when my dog was having breathing issues and couldn’t breathe after a grooming appointment. So we rushed her here and I knew immediately she was in good hands. The vet staff was awesome and easily explained everything and were extremely compassionate and understanding. We were obviously a mess because of the unknown and not knowing if our dog was going to live or not. The vet staff here saved my dogs life and I am forever grateful for them. The words and this review can not even explain how appreciative we are. I would have given 5 stars but because of my experience with Janelle at the front desk, her attitude and complete lack of compassion when dealing with our checkout procedure on Saturday, I took a star away. Janelle I hope you never have to go through what we were going through with a pet or someone or something you love and have someone give you an attitude over a silly miscommunication issue when you can’t even think straight because you are going through a traumatic experience. Sorry I might not have understood you the first time but everything was a blur when my dog was unexpectedly hooked up to oxygen and we are being quoted $7000. Sorry Janelle that we ruined your day. I hope the next time you get frustrated working at an ER vet you can remember that everyone is going through something on different levels. A deep breath and a little compassion can go a long way.
