I wish I had found Dr.McCrone sooner. She and her staff are absolutely amazing! I was worried about getting my rescue kitten Callie spayed since the last time I’ve had a kitten was over seven years ago. But she was in wonderful hands. Though I am moving soon I have recommended her to my friends with pets that still live here.

Im absolutely recommending them! I lost my 17 yr old pawson yesterday. He had a stroke that morning and declined throughout the day, all while mommy finally got a recommendation from House of Paws. They got him in that same day and he passed away peacefully to the rainbow bridge. They were so compassionate and the Dr did such an amazing job. My sister was a former Vet tech and said she was amazed at how professional the Dr was and she’ll definitely be calling them for hers soon. Thank you guys so much!

I needed in home euthanasia for my furred friend of 15 years. He was terrified of the vet office so the fact that they came the same day I called them was amazing. They came late at night so Zeb was already in bed and relaxed. He passed with us at his side. It was so peaceful for him.
I can not thank them enough for this service. It meant the world to me. They are so caring. Wonderful people. The photo is Zeb transitioning to meet his waiting friends.

I own a farm where I breed working Maremma Sheepdogs and dwarf and miniature dairy goats. I also own a variety of other animals including companion dogs and cats, horses and various farm animals. Dr Kayla and her staff take care of them all. I am 57 years old, have lived all over the US and have used many vets over the years. Kayla is absolutely the best vet I've ever had, bar none.

I first met Kayla when my rescue horse, Lacey, badly injured her eye. Lacey was abused before coming to me so whenever she was in pain she was almost impossible to handle. I could not find any vet that would treat her, not even my current vet at that time. Someone told me I should call the new vet that was just opening up in town. I did and within 20 minutes she was there. It took several hours but Kayla patiently persisted and got a tube inserted in Lacey’s eye so we could administer medicine several times a day. It took over a month of treatment but she saved the eye. And she has been my vet ever since.

She has saved many of my animals from near death experiences and been there to help the one that couldn't be saved. She even attempted an emergency spay on my favorite Mini Nubian doe, Jessie, when her uterus tore during kidding. Sadly though Jessie survived the surgery she died of complications a week later. But what matters to me is that Kayla was willing to try. Very few vets would have since most vets see goats as second class citizens. I had to know we had done everything possible to save Jessie, and Kayla understood that.

Besides the fact that she is so talented and devoted to animals, another area where she shines above every other vet I've ever met is that she takes the owners of the animals seriously, giving them the respect they deserve as intelligent people who want the best for their animals. Instead of treating owners like children as most vets do, she educates and empowers people to truly be a part of the team in their animals’ care. She demonstrates procedures, explains all the details of their treatment and any options thoroughly, teaches owners how to do as much of the follow up care as is reasonable for the individual and gives owners the tools they need to take care of their animals themselves. This results in healthier animals overall, saves money and builds confidence in the owner that they can do their part to help their own animals, with Kayla’s guidance.

Kayla and her staff are always looking for ways to improve the services they offer, constantly improving and updating, ensuring they offer the best veterinary care available. I wouldn't trust any other veterinarian more with my animals.

We are very thankful for everything Dr. McCrone does for our rescue animals! Shasta was left in a bush with a broken leg. It was a Sunday in the middle of the night and Dr. McCrone was able to see Shasta and get her all fixed up and pain free. We made weekly visits for splint changes and after 6 weeks Shasta was all healed. Having an amazing 24/7 vet that’s cost friendly has been a game changer to our rescue. We are able to help save so many more lives. The staff is friendly and they treat us like family.

The doctors and staff are awesome! They are always very nice and even squeezed my dog and I in last minute for a minor emergency that popped up unexpectedly, which is SO appreciated! And everybody we’ve encountered has been very knowledgeable and has taken the time to answer any questions we have had. Definitely recommended!
