Beautiful facility. Friendly staff and counselors. AMAZING food. The only thing negative I would have to say is it’s a very expensive program for just 30 days. They give you a lot of freedom, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on how bad you really want to get sober. You can force a horse to the river, but you can’t make it drink. Other than that, I had a great experience here.

DO NOT GO! The counselors/therapist here are terrific. They are one of the kind. They really want to help you but when somebody in the staff messes up, YOU WILL be the one that PAYS for it. DO NOT go here and save yourself the trouble! They forgot about an entire IOP class! THEY knew about covering for weeks and instead of apologizing to us, when we were all waiting for them! From what I understand the woman that was supposed to cover our IOP (while original therapist was on vacation) is now the Director!! So DO NOT go here!! don’t say you have not been WARNED!!!

Edit to add: I want to be clear what happened.. Our IOP was forgotten about. 1.5 hours later the staff scrambled to get it together. A few people showed up.

A few days after the group was forgotten about ( I actually attended the reminder of the class) they told me didn't count towards my graduation/completion of the program. I was to make it up. What it boils down to is money. Remember the director is the one that forgot 10 addicts. Those 10 addicts remembered. We were there.

I love the therapists tho.

In the end, I didn't have to make it up and graduated.

This place is nothing like any other rehab I've been through. They genuinely cared, gave me hope and honestly wasnt there to make money they really showed love by sharing their life with us. I was there from January 25 of 2024, left February 20 of 2024 and have successfully stayed sober. I'm almost less than 60 days from completing sober living and getting my son back. Praise God for such great people. I'll never forget how this place helped me find the right path to help myself get back on track. Lots of love to all of valley HOPE. THANK YOU.

Sadly, I must update my review from a
5⭐ to a 1 because of the intake person named "Susan". My loved one NEEDS inpatient care and her condescending tone and cocky attitude towards me made an already frustrating and scary situation even more frustrating and scary! First, my loved one already gave verbal permission to speak with me and to allow me to help them through the admission process. My loved one was EXTREMELY ill from their addiction at the time we called Valley Hope and Susan did not quite grasp that. Susan talks over the client's family and has NO CLUE about the family dynamics and WHY I had to help my loved one make decisions. She literally talked my loved one out of the going inpatient which is what they need, to the outpatient program and though this, Valley Hope is setting my loved one up for failure, because they aren't going to get the full benefit of the program! Very sad that Valley Hope has gone so far downhill at least in their intake department. So, if you call, and you get Susan, ask for another intake counselor! I just hope Susan will be the one next time my loved one uses to hold her hair back at the toilet when she's puking her guts out 23 hours a day and SHE'LL be one to take her to the ER when she needs fluids due to severe dehydration, and SUSAN will be the one to drive her to her IV Hydration appointments to get further fluids to stop renal failure from occurring, because I WON'T DO IT AGAIN!

2022....

This facility is AMAZING! I had a loved one voluntarily admit themself (won't say which kind of loved one to protect their privacy) and it was the best decision they made.

Valley Hope is a place of true healing and understanding. My loved one said they felt safe there and the nursing staff was so kind and accommodating. Rooms are nice and the food is good, although my loved one said they didn't eat much as they were coming off of being very sick.

The facility is situated in a very quiet area on a very pretty piece of land. The facility from the outside looks large, but they try to keep the facility's population at a level where each person coming in for treatment feels attended to and cared for. This isn't like state ran facilities! No giving up your cell phone (except during counseling and informative sessions), no stripping you of your own clothing to put on scrubs.... Just a place to heal as an individual.

If you or a loved one need help, reach out to them; it'll be the best decision you ever made.

The staff was great whoever runs the place. The man doesn’t give a crap about people with addiction. Choose someplace else.
