Everyone was kind and considerate. I have to give kudos to Eddie the Med Tech who was always willing to help me with my sister. He was there to lend an ear and went above and beyond. He was my champion. Susanne, the Physical Therapist was also extremely helpful to both my sister and myself. Gilda, the night nurse was a dear. She was the first person I spoke to when admitting my sister and made such a positive lasting impression. Overall, it was a good experience.

This place is wonderful. We were nervous about my 87 year old father being placed in a rehabilitation facility but once we walked in and met the incredibly caring staff, within minutes we knew he would be safe and well cared for. I cannot put into words how relieved we are. On a side note, my father who is a “foodie” raves about the in-house made meals.

This is my first time visiting a patient at Valencia Gardens Health Care Center.But I remember a little over ten years ago I drove a bus for a local day care center, and would drop off a lady there and the nurse would come out to help this person who had difficulty walking and I was impressed how she lovingly assisted this person into the facility . I said then and I say now Valencia H C C is a great place and have a wonderful staff who are a cut above the norm. Thankyou, and may God continue to bless you all.

I am the son of an acute care patient and also care provider for the same person. I was satisfied with the overall care of the facility, barring the issues that were out of their control, such as PCP responses. The staff were generally very helpful to a demanding patient with many issues. Annabel, Nurse Arsh, Erick, Christian, Shirley, Christina, and many others who deserve mention, were among the most helpful, patient, and kind to the patient. Compared to other facilities, although there were some issues with some staff, this place was a five star establishment. However, I am marking it down to four because there were many times, several hours had passed since the patient rang for assistance, that were not responded to. Additionally, although the kitchens tried to work with the patient needs, the food was becoming more of an issue, could be due to funding...

Every time i come to visit my mom the nurses and staff are so nice and friendly .I drive from Long Beach to Riverside to visit her.They tend to my mom always in a professional way. When we need something or ask for something, they are Johnny on the spot.Thank you Valencia Garden Health care Center. And thanks to the staff that works there.

I was nervous about finding the right place for my mother, but this facility has exceeded all of our expectations. I couldn't be happier with the care my mother receives at this facility. The staff is always kind, attentive, and treats her with the utmost respect. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained. There’s always something going on, from exercise classes to Bingo. It’s great to see my mom so involved and excited about socializing with others.

I was impressed with the access control to the facility. I have been to other skiled nursing facilitys and there was very little security or access control. Valencia Gardens was well maintained and clean. The staff were professional and polite. Overall it was a positive experience.

My mother was here for over three months and I witnessed a significant change in her capability to walk. The staff was very helpful and always maintained a positive attitude towards the patients. Special shout out to the Physical Therapist’s, RN’s, CNA’s, Wound Nurses, the Activities Director, and basically everyone that helped make her stay pleasant! Keep up the great work and highly recommended.
