We had a great experience taking our dog Maudie in for her first post-adoption visit. We had several questions and appreciated the staff taking the time to answer each one. They have Maudie a thorough examination and provided recommendations for how we could care for her. We left feeling that Maudie received 5-star care. We will be back!

WARNING. Do not bring your pets here. I was a customer for over 20 years, but the good doctors have left, and the staff is unbearable. An especially incompetent receptionist, who could not even send my cats vet records to my new doctor. Apparently, the older doctors have retired, and sold the "clinic" to corporate owners. No longer a nice Andersonville institution.

I took my cats to this practice for almost 32 years, but when Dr Dikes and Dr Sloan retired simultaneously, they sold the practice to a corporation. Their excellent practice went down the drain and only poor Dr Whisler was left to handle everything. They refused to take me back as a client because my previous cats died of old age and I was bringing 4 yes four new kittens. They said they were not accepting new patients! I was paying the bills! I was their client for 32 years, but no new patients. Then I discovered they were accepting back in May or any of 2022 because they had not enough vets! Now I would not dream of going back there since they sold out to a corporation. This is a national problem of corporations buying out practices in veterinary care, charging top dollars and giving poor service. Gone are the days with 7 excellent vets who you could see regularly and easily and count on their good skills. I would give a reluctant pass to this practice. They had no loyalties to me and my pets and I have none for them.

I brought my dog here to get checked up and neutered. Everything went well, he is doing great! When I got my kitties, the first place I thought was to bring them here. Wish my Grumps and Gizmo luck as they prepare for their neuter! 🙏🏽

I spent the last 20+ yrs going here with all my animals... until things gradually went down hill with this place. Don't plan on having 1 vet see your animals they have a rotating door that staff come for a day or two and then float somewhere else and then you get someone else the next time. Don't let them try to say there's a short in vets ( that's their excuse for vets not wanting to work there). They had some really good vets and 3 of them retired close together in the past few years. People like myself that have gone here for years have transferred to the 'other' animal hospital in the neighborhood due to inconsistencies at this place and no one taking responsibility for the ill mistakes these floating vets make when they come to cover shifts. Elizabeth the office manger is not only condensing but shouldn't be in this industry; that goes for the office manager Linda that has no problem lying right to your face. I'm not sure why or how these 2 ladies have jobs.. I would hate to see how they treat our pets behind the scenes if that's how they treat us. It's not just me that pulled all my animals from this place I have heard a good portion of their clientele have left to go to the other animal hospital for the same reason.

The staff and vets have been incredible with our pup, who tends to be pretty anxious. They are professional and courteous and we feel safe leaving our pup in their care!
