Pésimo servicio, mi mascota murió por su falta de atención, nos dieron un diagnóstico escrito, pero nos dijeron otra cosa, el diagnóstico fue diferente y uno siente que lo único que les importa es el ? pésimo, pésimo, pésimo.

My brother, mom and I took my brother’s childhood dog here to be put to rest after a great 13 years of life. All of the staff were so patient, kind, and considerate. Especially the person who administered the medication to put him to rest, they were very soft-spoken and also incredibly gentle with our Hoodie. I am so grateful that the staff were able to provide such a warm, comforting environment to send our beloved pet over the rainbow road.

I am not one to usually post reviews but my heart is broken in a million pieces and my hopes are that the staff takes some suggestions to heart.

We took our 5 year old lab in late in the evening because she wouldn’t eat and seemed to be having stomach pain. She had a tendency to eat things she shouldn’t so we were concerned that was the case. We live over an hour from an emergency vet. By the time we arrived it was midnight. We filled out the paper work. They took her back, evaluated her and came in stating they thought it might be her back. We explained that she eats lots of things and we thought she may have an obstruction. We agreed to pay the $1500 plus for X-rays and blood work. At about 2am the vet came in and said that it was much worse than expected and that she had an obstruction and bloodwork came back very bad. She discussed options of surgery and the $5000-$13000 for surgery and hospitalization and the likelihood of pain and that she may not make it through. She also said that we could take her to Fresno for surgery because she would have needed to have started the surgery at midnight and it was already 2:00am. It seemed like she didn’t want to do the surgery because they were closing. We didn’t feel as if she wanted to fight for her or atleast that is how we felt. We then made the decision to put her down. We asked to go tell her goodbye. I regret not staying with her until she passed. She seemed so scared. We kissed her goodbye and walked away.

When we had our other lab put down years ago the vets and staff were so so compassionate. They offered for me to be there when they sedated her so she fell asleep in my arms. We left our Bea girl scared and alone. I will say that when we left and I paid the secretary she was very compassionate. I got a call a couple of days ago that the clay pawprint had come in. I guess I was expecting an“I’m so sorry for your loss”. I got, “The paw print is in and remember we don’t open until 5:30pm.”

In the future, I would suggest having a plan for loved ones to sit with their pets when they can. Reassure pet owners that their pets are being evaluated. Check on pet family. When the decision is made to put them down, offer them to say goodbye to their pets. Offer for them to be there. Walk them through the process. Reassure them that they will not be in pain. Let them know that they will be sedated first and then euthanized. At least I hope that is how my girl passed. It is my fault for not telling someone I wanted to be there but I was in a devastated state of mind. I can only imagine the heart ache of losing pets and I’m sure with that comes compassion fatigue. With that being said, I think that it is a necessity.❤️?

A hard review for me. We took our fur baby Sissy in last Monday. They noticed what we were telling them what was going on with her, and immediately took her back. Unfortunately we had to make the hard decision to let her cross over that rainbow. Sissy was 15yrs old and brought so much love to us. Everyone there was so kind and caring with us and Sissy. Thank you so much for all of your love and support during that hard time. Y'all are beautiful and loving not only to the fur baby's, but to us. ?❤️
