We have such gratitude for Dr. Maria Patino of True Balance who has treated our sweet Wheaten Terrier Cassidy for over two years. We started with Dr. P. when Cassidy was 14 y.o. BEFORE she had any serious health issues. Cass did have allergies and some arthritis at that time. With daily supplements and regular acupuncture Dr. Patino managed and alleviated her symptoms giving Cassidy an amazing quality of life as she aged. Dr. P gave us exercises to strengthen Cassidy’s legs and taught us how to massage her body to keep her feeling well. As time progressed, so did Cassidy’s medical issues. Dr. Patino treated Cassidy’s incontinence with acupuncture and supplements and we saw immediate results. Dr. Patino is not just a true professional who lets you know when she will arrive at your home for the appointment and follows up to see how your pet is doing, she deeply loves animals and finds great joy in helping/healing them. She has a vast array of traditional and natural veterinary knowledge. Dr. María Patino has been an amazing blessing to Cassidy and our family. I cannot recommend her enough as a professional and a human! Maria is amazing. My 6 year old Great Dane loves her - I can absolutely see a difference in his hair and comfort. And - sooner rather than later for your fur baby - irs easier to maintain and improve than try to fix something when it’s already bad.

Dr. Patino is the most knowledgeable and caring vet in Miami. I took my baby girl Gisoo to nearly 10 different vets in South Florida and none of them were as compassionate as Dr. Patino. She had the heart and curiosity to take on a complicated case and was willing to drive 3+ hours in traffic to treat her. After just 1 session she was able to get her nystagmus to stop. She is very invested in her patients and cares more about the quality of time she has with her patients as opposed to the quantity of patients she sees in a day.

Incredible experience, my kitten had an accident making him paralyzed. We were told to put him down by another Vet but we wanted a second opinion and we found TrueBalance Vet Acupuncture, after just one session we saw hope in our kittens recovery. It took only 4 sessions and now he is running around, jumping, and has a full life ahead of him. Dr Maria Patino was really amazing and true blessing to us. She was extremely compassionate, caring and gentle with our fur baby and was very supportive to us humans too. Our dog knew that she was there to help him and welcomed her treatments. He was a bossy and sometimes a grumpy old man but she was able to read and adapt to his moods. She followed up to see how he was getting along, requested photos and videos so she could observe him when we went on vacation in Maine. Most importantly, she was there when we needed her the most We had to make a difficult decision because he took a turn for the worst and she was just wonderful through it all. I would highly recommend her because she helped our Senior Boy so much. Thanks to her, he received relief from his pain and able to walk better. I am certain he would not of been with us as long as he was if it was not for her. Without a doubt, I will call on her again if I had another pet that needed her services. Dr. Patino is an incredible person and an incredible vet. She treated my fur baby for about a year. Honestly, we did not think Poochie had much time left however, with Dr. Patino’s help she lived another year. Dr. Patino gave her quality of life for the time she had remaining. Dr. Patino came into our lives when we needed a miracle and she answered with compassion and expertise.

Love love love Dr.Patino !! My 13 year old, FS, German shepherd was paraparetic on hind legs but worse on the left side. I did an MRI and it showed T6- T7 were herniated disc. I opted for medical care and with Dr.patino help, electro acupuncture, laser and herbals helped her so much! She went from barley walking, dragging her back legs and going to the bathroom on herself to escaping the house after her third treatment. Thankfully we found her a few houses down and she was just exploring. Isabel is my world and has been with me through the worst and best times of my life, seeing how well she is doing now brings me to tears. I thank Dr. Patino so much for everything she does for my princess. I love being able to see my girl enjoy life again to jump and play. I would recommend 1000000 percent and Dr. Patino is amazing !!! My girl loves her and that says a lot because she’s a very nervous girl.
