Julie has created a loving environment for the dogs under her care. My 4-legged nephew's mommy swears by The Village Dog and when I am in town sitting him, I see how much he has enjoyed his day with his schoolmates at pick-up time!

The first time taking my doggie nephew to daycare, we stopped for a light on Green Bay Road and turning to check on him in the back seat, he was standing up, smiling, tongue out and wagging his tail as he apparently recognized where we were and where we were going! 🙂

Nephew's mommy reported a great first experience with boarding a couple of weeks ago, when I was unable to fly to Chicago for a few days to sit.

During drop-offs or pick-ups, other pet parents have told me (they recognize my nephew, but not me first-time!) of how pleased they are to have Julie in charge of their cherished dogs.

Julie watched our dog for 2 years while we lived in Wilmette. I could not recommend her more! There are people who have gifts in life and Julie is truly gifted with animals. She loves them, nurtures them and provides a safe, happy environment for them to stay while your away. Your dog will thank you for sending him/her to Julie!

We recently moved to the are from the city, and I was really set to find a suitable doggy daycare for my yorkie. After trying out 2 other places, the Village Dog has been the best experience. My Yorkie is super excited when we start driving in that direction - she absolutely loves it (which was not the case with other doggyday cares). She always comes back happy and never smells gross as was the case with other doggy daycares. I feel very lucky that we found the Village Dog.

Our pup absolutely loves coming here. We call it her ‘school’ and she gets so excited on the days she gets to go. She absolutely loves Julie and we are so grateful for the fun she has and care she receives while there. Highly recommend!

GREAT doggie day care. And Julie, the owner, is a love. Our very energetic 8 month old pup loves going to The Village Dog and is exhausted (in all the best ways) after she gets home. A treasure to have in Wilmette.

Five stars for Julie and The Village Dog. We are fortunate to have her caring ways and dedicated attention in our neighborhood. My young Dane and her sister enjoy their outing a couple times a week and Julie accommodates each owner and dog individually. Thank you Julie.

This was the first time we have ever left our dog and we were very nervous. After leaving him at the Village Dog I feel that it was an excellent choice... a very safe, comfortable and kind environment with a very caring owner.
