I was so excited when I found The Spaw. I love that they provide daycare, boarding and grooming services. I have heard so many traumatizing stories from friends who have had to board their dogs and their dogs came back home very anxious and scared. That is not the case with The Spaw. Everyone at The Spaw truly loves all of the pups. They are passionate about animal health and nutrition. It’s a big deal to me that they take on a more holistic approach. My dog Bowie absolutely loves going and rushes me to the door. I have had family emergencies and they were able to board Bowie the same day no questions asked. I highly recommend The Spaw for all of the services they provide.
They also have a kitty hotel which is in a separate building away from the dogs. The rooms for the cats are very spacious and nice calming music is playing for them.

Today was our third time at this facility to get our dog groomed and the first two times went fine. However after the grooming today we noticed our dog had some injuries on his paw and on his stomach. I understand that dogs can move around and accidents happen, but we were not informed of his injuries.

My little Fifi is an old man and a rescue who had a terrible life before and hate being handled. I’ve been rejected by numerous groomers, or found him terribly upset and sometimes injured at the end of being groomed at different businesses. The Spaw is HANDSDOWN the best groomer in OC (trust me I’ve really been all over, even LA). They are kind, caring, gentle, and really have a way to calm Fifi down and get him properly washed and groomed. When I pick him up, although he’d still be grumpy, he’s visibly a lot happier than at other places and looks handsomely trimmed. The owner and all groomers here are incredibly caring and loving of the dogs they take care of, and I have never encountered any passive aggressiveness or slighting remarks from the staff. I have been going to the spaw for years now, and will definitely continue doing so!

The Spaw is a gem! Everyone here is great and the groomers do an awesome job. I trust that my little one will be well cared for while he’s at The Spaw. Shout out to Whitney for always being so awesome, and to Jamie who did our Kronic’s cut this last time and did a great job :))

This place truly changed my dog's life. I have a 6 yr old husky. I had been taking her to PetSmart and other random groomers here and there for 5 yrs. Each time, I had requested the deshedding and undercoat treatment, and each time, it seemed like they didn't do it. They would all tell me that my husky just has really thick fur, and we would have to live with it. I finally tried Spaw. When I picked up my husky, I have never seen her happier. They got ALL of her undercoat and deshedded, and she looked 5 lbs lighter. The lady explained that her neck area was matted underneath, not just "really thick", and they were able to bruch and pull out the whole area. Basically, all the previous groomers were being lazy, and while my husky did have a very thick undercoat, they spent the time to do it right. Spaw was the first in 5 YEARS to actually care and do their job throroughly. We have been suffering for 5 years! Now my husky is so much happier, can manage her walking and heat, and thus our bond has gotten stronger. This has changed here whole life and our relationship! Even her shedding is managable now, my home is managable (I thought I was going to have to live with constant clumps of shedding all the time, but now it's like any other dog). I cannot thank Spaw enough. Five years! You guys changed our lives. Now on top of that, when we got to the door, there's a sign out front with all the scheduled visitor's names in colors and it makes you already feel comfortable, safe, and welcome. The inside is well kept, organized, nice displays and quality products. Everyone is PROFESSIONAL and caring. Thank you again, Spaw. Can't wait to come back!

We came from Vegas and we always bring this guy cause he needs, ALL of the supervisions! We wanted to do something with our kids while we were here and he couldn’t come. My husband didn’t understand why I chose “the spaw” over boarding him. He was concerned about the name and seeming a bit boujie. We went through the evaluation process (which was new to me) basically just making sure he got along with other dogs, filled out paper work and checked his vaccines. All was good and he stayed the day for doggy daycare. They had cameras up and I watched them with him a few times and left. When I came back I did the same and he was having the time of his life. They brought him out to me and my son and he was so happy but still wanted to interact with the workers. One of them asked my permission to give him treats which is huge for me as he has a LOT of food allergies. They even got him to sit! I was mind blown. I wish we lived here so he could come occasionally. I know he had so much fun. Thank you!

Booked an appointment for a flea dip weeks in advance, the business called me about two hours before my appointment to inform me that they were too busy for the flea dip that day and whoever scheduled me should have scheduled me for 3pm instead of 1pm. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism considering that I made my appointment weeks in advance.
