I use to take my dog to petco for grooming services, but the last time I did she was very resistant to go in and did NOT look happy when I picked her up, so I decided to try out The Shaggy Dog. Layla is a rescue and she is very weary of strangers. When Layla was dropped off, she was belly up being pet by the staff before her bath. Someone picked her up for me, so I don’t know what her demeanor was after the bath or how she did, so I called to talk to the staff. The woman who answered the phone was very kind and you could tell that she loved her job. Layla came home smelling amazing, her coat was soft, her nails and paw pads were taken care of, and her ears were cleaned. They did a great job, I truly cannot say enough nice things about my experience. 10/10 would recommend and will be taking her back.

Both my Labs Charlie and Jackson had a wonderful experience at The Shaggy Dog. Amy was the absolute best. They were so excited when I picked them up. They look and smell amazing. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much. ?

Brought my American Bull dog in for a nail clip. Amy was wonderful with my baby. I would recommend The shaggy Dog they seemed to really love working with your pet. Awsome job.

Very nice staff. The whole place is really cool. It's got a nice, hometown feel. Multiple cats just hanging out that are super chill and friendly. They did a great job on my dog. I also got crickets, love bait, and pressed the fishing tackle while I was there. I'll be back. Prices were very reasonable.

Such a great experience. I took my puppy (Frank) in here for his first grooming. Amy the owner listened to my request and went above and beyond. They did so great with him. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I have an 11 year old Pomeranian that has required grooming approximately every 6 weeks throughout his life so we had been to many groomers. We recently stumbled across Amy as we drove past Shaggy Dog. She is absolutely amazing!! Her love of animals is evident as soon as she sees your pet. I appreciate that she listens to what you want, and doesn’t jump to conclusions on what should be done. She does as requested and in a reasonable amount of time. And if all of this isn’t impressive enough, her prices are reasonable too!! I highly recommend Amy at Shaggy Dog. Haha, I wish I could get my own hair styled as good as my dog’s is!

Amy was very pet and people friendly, speaking to our Beagle (Jake) and my wife during the grooming session! Jake's nails were the best job that we had ever experienced! We will be returning to The Shaggy Dog, for sure!
