We recently moved nearby and boarded our dogs at The Red Dog House for the first time. It is hard to find a place where we feel confident about them handling our dogs (particularly one of them who is very fear-reactive with strangers), so we are fortunate to have found this place. They were also very accommodating when our flight was delayed and they needed to stay another night. We also love that they are a dog rescue as well!

This was one of the better experiences I have had when it comes to boarding my dog. I travel with my dog and sometimes just need a place to watch him for the day or overnight. The staff were awesome and explained everything they would be doing with my dog. The owner even took of his personal time to show me some training tactics to use with my dog after observing us. This place takes all dogs and knows how to handle nice easy ones and dogs who have difficulty either with people or other dogs. The registration and check in process was easy. The accommodations for my dog (which were overnight) were more than I expected. Thank you for offering such an awesome service!

My fur baby, Toby Houston stays at The Red Dog House quit frequently. It is his second home. He went through the board and train program with them. Worth every penny. Not sure who learned more, him or me. . This place is the best especially if your pup needs some extra attention . Justine and Steve are the best as is all of the staff and volunteers.

I’m so thankful we found the Red Dog House for boarding our two Pitt bulls. I boarded my two boys for a week after having poor experiences with other boarding facilities and not trusting someone who isn’t experienced with Pitt bulls. You could tell they took great care of my dogs by their behavior when they got home. We had to have them stay an extra night due to flight delay and they were super understanding and accommodating! I 10/10 recommend!

My shy dog stayed at the Red Dog House for 5 days, and I will admit I was a bit worried because it was the 1st time I've left my dog with a stranger. I read the reviews and felt confident she would be okay. I go and pick her up and she was happy and playful with the staff. She let them pet and hug her goodbye and that's when i knew she was treated well and with kindness. I will definitely bring her back if I ever find myself needing a place for her to stay while I'm out of town.

It had been 10 years since I last had a dog in my life. When I decided to adopt from TLRD, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I would be interviewed by an animal behaviorist to help determine the best match for me. Bella has indeed been the perfect canine companion, and my life has gained new meaning because of her this year.
