We’ve been loyal customers of Old Road Veterinary Center since they opened, bringing our cats here for their care. The team has always been incredibly professional and compassionate, and we trust them completely with the health of our pets.

Recently, our cat Theodore got sick and we were so impressed with the speed and thoroughness of the diagnosis. Thanks to the prompt intervention and care from Dr. Cheema and the vet team, Theodore healed quickly and is back to his playful self. We’re so grateful for their attention to detail and dedication to our pets' well-being.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Cheema and his incredible staff. It's wonderful to have finally found a vet that we can trust and resect and that's not owned by some conglomerate but by a lovely family.

My boyfriend and I took our dog Ollie here because I tried to have a non anesthetic cleaning for him. That couldn't be done unfortunately because of several loose teeth and an infection. We were terrified because my boyfriend's sister had an older dog similar to Ollie that died immediately after going under anesthesia for a dental cleaning. We went to another doctor before Dr. Cheema and we were not happy with this other vet's bedside manner and had little confidence in him. We didn't have much faith in any of the vets we had been to in the past 8 year and believe me, there were many!

Onward in our seach! A week later we first met Dr. Cheema. He took his time explainingthe procedure and let us ask all the questions we needed to. We decided to have extra tests and an xray done because he's a senior dog.

The assistant showed us on a tablet different options and their prices. We couldn't believe! At every other vet we have been to they simply tell you how much it will cost and there is no discussion about it. Dr. Cheema let's you decide what is right for you and your budget.

After Ollie took his xray, Dr Cheema explained the xray and told us that he has a mild collapsed trachea. I was relieved to hear this because I always wondered why he starts coughing when he becomes excited and it had never been diagnosed before. We were able to ask him more questions and never once felt rushed.

Dr. Cheema called me a couple days later and said that the tests looked great and there were no contraindications to the anesthesia. It was incredibly kind of him to call me personally instead of delegating that task to someone else.

Ollie had his surgery on 11/7 and it's been just over a week. Our baby is doing excellent! He was back to his old self, playing with our other dog Sophie only a couple days later. I'm so relieved that Dr. Cheema and staff kept our baby alive and healthy.

Thank you to the dental hygenist that worked on Ollie, Brianna I believe. Thank you to Dolores at the front desk. She has been so kind and flexible. She helped me reschedule the surgery and our appointment last minute yesterday when the traffic at 430 pm was horrendous! Thank you also to Austin for your help with our follow up appointment today. You all have been fabulous.

I can't say enough good things about The Old Road Vet Clinic. They have taken such wonderful care of my dog, Chloe and I am incredibly grateful for their expertise and compassion. They laid out multiple options for our dog to help keep the cost reasonable, they were able to get us in same day.

I needed a local place to have an ultrasound performed on my cat - recommended by another vet - however the place they referred me
to was in Woodland Hills. My cat is 17 years old and I was hesitant to subject her to such a long drive. I found Dr. Cheema using Google and I am so glad I did. He was able to see Peaches right away and actually advised that the stress of the ultrasound/sedation may be risky and gave me other options for her care. I appreciated that they were honest and not looking to charge me for an unnecessary service but also gave me the option to proceed if I chose to. Dolores was amazing and answered all of my questions prior to the visit. I will be returning to get Peaches’ blood pressure taken and proceed with the next steps needed for her care. They have a calming room to help prep and relax her. I look forward to our next visit and highly recommended The Old Road Vet!

I can’t thank Dr Cheema and the entire staff enough. I was able to get a last minute appt for our Olivia based on sudden severe decline, and that afternoon she was in emergency surgery that without a doubt saved her life. Everyone from the receptionist to vet techs are just amazing and professional. I really wanted to shout out Dr. Sandeep Cheema. He worked well with my puppy and now I started bringing my other dog here. I found them out of luck and now I will never go anywhere else! Dr. Cheema is thorough with explaining any diagnosis and he is genuine and you can feel that he really cares about his patients and that’s important.
