My experience at The Hair Spot was great!
I needed to get a last-minute haircut as my mother passed unexpectedly. Since I lived 750 miles away, I didn't have time to take care of things back at home prior to coming to the Chicago suburbs.
The friendly staff took me in and provided a very nice experience during a difficult time.

Absolutely love the ladies here! My mom and I have been coming here for 20+ years. Julie, Susie, Carly, or Kim have all cut my hair over the years And never disappoint. I’ve started going here to get my eyebrows waxed and they’re always gentle and done perfectly. Would highly recommend for any woman or man of any age!!

We stopped in here basically on a whim. My mother and I both needed a trim - nothing fancy, just a little snip-snip - and they popped up on my Google search as only being half a mile away. They had really excellent reviews, and the woman who had cut our hair the last few times had moved away recently. Thus, we were in need of not only a pair of trims but a new local salon as well.

We were both very pleased with the haircuts. The stylists were friendly and skilled, and they both did a great job. It wasn't packed, but there was a steady stream of people. We didn't have to wait at all. I was very impressed and we'll both be back.

I just got my hair cut and as usual a perfect job! I have been going to this salon for more than 20 years. Suzy is my stylist and she is great! Everyone is always friendly and polite. Great fun atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

You advertise that you're a down-to-earth, comfortable, friendly salon...Yesterday I took my two year old son for a haircut and experienced rudeness and unfriendliness from start to finish. We were greeted by our stylist Kayla who was actually frowning and us feel like we when bothering her by being there. During the haircut my child was crying and upset (like MOST) 2 years do and we were told the haircut we wanted couldn't be finished! So we had to leave with a haircut we didn't want. When we pointed out that the haircut was uneven another stylist sitting next to us in her chair rudely said "Oh, well she's not a magician." Completely inappropriate comment! All we wanted was a haircut for my 2 yr old son and we were made to feel like we were an inconvenience! I guess they didn't cover giving haircuts to small children in beauty school! So based off my experience, I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE WITH SMALL CHILDREN TO VISIT THIS SALON!! CLEARLY, ITS NOT CHILD FRIENDLY!
