Hello! We left our dog with you from January 31 to February 2. First, his balls turned red and peeled off. Yesterday he started coughing. Today the doctor confirmed an infection. And all this after he was with you. Last year, we also left him with you for a day in February. And then his balls peeled off too. It's a shame that you are irresponsible. People trust you with their beloved tails. Now the animal suffers. And we paid a lot of money. Of course, we will never leave our dog with you again. And we do not recommend you to anyone!
Thank you

The problem is not that our dog is not neutered. You never said that you do not accept non-neutered dogs, you wrote the first time only after our situation. The thing is that your solutions, what you wash the cages with, caused irritation in our dog again. He licked himself and it went inside his body. Which is fraught with health not only for our dog. And it is not about sensitive skin. You should take into account that dogs can have sensitive skin, right? The fact that you treat the cages is good. But this must be done without harming the animals! Now our dog is suffering! And the treatment was expensive! Instead of writing at least an apology and wishing our dog a speedy recovery. You are trying to shift the blame to the fact that our dog is not neutered and has sensitive skin.

I walked in and was surprised at the temperature in the place (75-80) and greeted with a strong smell of urine.

I was completely appalled by the condition our dog was returned in.

Dog was covered in feces and urine. In addition to multiple wounds. 2 paws were bleeding and one leg.

Owner was unapologetic when my mom called to address issues.

Sorry the photos aren't better, my first concern was cleaning the dog and tending to injuries.

First time we have had an issue, but this is unacceptable.

### updated review to three stars, I feel that was a professional answer by the owner and it certainly seems like they try their best. I am not sure what was said on the phone, and I'm uncertain how the dog was behaving. In my opinion, it certainly seems like the owner cares.###

I've tried other kennel options in the area and I stopped looking after finding Dog Waggin. My dog doesn't hesitate to go in, she comes out happy and clean, and there's never an issue with getting a reservation. Yes, it is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

I'm super happy with the care, attention and gentleness in which the staff at the Dog Waggin' in Algonquin showed my beagle. Banjo was an anxious mess when she first met the folks here as we were in the process of moving and as a rescue she was quite thrown off by the whole process. During moving day, they took care of her and when I went to pick her up she was so much more relaxed than I'd seen her all week. She hasn't been back in some time but she's due for a full grooming package so I'm looking to book her a day of pamepering and play very soon.

This place is amazing, Wouldn't take my dog anywhere else, ever since I found this place its its the spot for my dog. Baths and overnight stays are at a great price. Highly recommended, these people know what they're doing. My dog Chato loves it.

My aussie mix seems to love going here and everyone has always been friendly. I'm disappointed they changed their overnight boarding from "no kennel" to the suite style though. I don't like the idea of leaving him alone in a smaller confined space. I've also been disappointed with the bath service before pickup from daycare. He still seems to smell a little funky even after the bath. Other than that, The Dog Waggin' seems like a good place.

My dog, Grendel, has a great 8-day boarding stay at The Dog Waggin. She is very nervous and has separation anxiety, but she adapted fine. Lisa evaluated her to ensure it was a good fit and invited her visit again so that she would get used to it. They provided updates and pictures. She came home happy, healthy, and even smelling great (she had the bath pack)!

I have been taking my dog Marcus to doggy daycare for a couple of months now and he absolutely loves it! The staff is super friendly! I also just tried out their grooming services and I’m very happy with that as well. Thanks Dog Waggin!
