Absolutely horrendous staff. I have been looking for a groomers place since the last place I went too was not washing my dog properly, I come here and they shave my dog. I had originally booked just a wash and trim, they had informed me he had some matting and had to cut some hair off, we all agreed on a desired length, I even included pictures on what I would not want my dog to look like and if that was an issue to inform me. I come back to my dogs hair all shaved off, I don't understand how you can do such a big decision without letting the owner know, it's 2025 we should know how to make phone calls and communicate. Below you will see how I took my dog in and how he looked after. And to mention they make you pay and tip before you get to see the work they have done, I payed $100 for my dog to be shaved to the skin without me being informed. if I wanted to shave him this way I would've done it myself. would've never payed if I knew they had completely done nothing of what I told them to. Even the lady that had handed me my dog had asked why i had a tear in my eye, I showed her what he looked like before and even she was genuinely shocked. He was also supposed to be bathed and smelt the exact same when I picked him up, it took them 5 hours for this. Not to mention they didn't even touch his tail or ears. He's completely UNEVEN.

the staff & groomers at the Dog Stop are nothing short of amazing when it comes to a board and grooming facility! i take my berenedoodle there regularly to be groomed and for play time, and the facility is always spotless and the staff is always friendly, communicative, and makes my dog look her best! couldn’t recommend this place more 🥳

My dog, Frosty, has terrible anxiety, but the staff was so patient and gentle with him. They took their time, gave him breaks, and even sat on the floor to help him feel safe. By the end, he was calm and his haircut turned out absolutely adorable! It’s rare to find a place that is so accommodating. I’m so grateful for their kindness and skill. Highly recommend!

When I brought my Mini Australian Labradoodle in for a very overdue haircut. They were absolutely amazing in keeping me up-to-date On how much was needed to be taken off. I absolutely love the communication and the friendliness with the staff. I wouldn’t bring my little boy to anyone else.

I brought in my mini golden doodle (her name is Luffy) to get a grooming as her fur was pretty matted after growing a lot over the winter. I honestly thought she was a lost cause due to the number of knots. I brought her to the groomers at dog stop and they warned my they might not be able to salvage much but when I picked her up I was shocked! She looked so beautiful, her hair was shorter but she was still my cute little angel and I could tell the people at dog stop really cared and treated her well by how happy she seemed when I picked her up. I have been struggling to find her a groomer she likes so I am glad to have found this place. We will definitely be coming back!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at The Dog Stop! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the clean and welcoming environment. The name of the staff member that made our dog look naked was Andres A. He use to be fluffy and was called a teddy bear , now he has a skunk tail and looks like a little girl. Not just that but his face and head was left super patchy. Andre’s A had gave us confidence that he was going to do what was told and shown but ignorantly did what he wanted too . Even if shaving his hair was a MUST there should’ve definitely been some communication. It’s been 2 days and he still scratches himself in discomfort, these dogs aren’t meant to be like this especially in the winter .

If I could leave negative stars I would. My sister took her baby here hoping for a great experience and instead she got her heart broken. It had been communicated that he was just getting dematted and a trim. As she goes to pick him up, she sees how his hair is all cut off and patchy but his ears and tail weren’t even touched. They went against her wishes and shaved him claiming that he was just too matted AFTER they had said they could de-mat him. When she was picking up, the staff had asked if everything was okay and she made it clear that this wasn’t what she asked for. The staff didn’t even seem apologetic and was quick to change the subject. Horrible customer service and services provided in general, plus zero communication.
