The Dog House is without question the absolute best trainers for your dog. I have a 6 month black lab puppy named Nova that spent over 4 weeks there and when she was finished, she was a different dog. They work so incredibly well with the dogs to make sure that they are learning properly, so that when you bring them home they will be the perfect companion. Kelvin was Nova’s trainer and did a fantastic job at not only training her but also myself so that when I brought her home, I was able to continue the training myself. This is without a doubt worth every penny and if you have any doubts about this place, don’t because they are simply the best.

I was at my wits end when our Doberman was about 4 months old when a friend who also has a Doberman recommended the dog house. After reading the reviews, I decided to try this place out for training. We decided to board train him and our trainer was Kelvin. When we brought our pup home, he was a completely different dog and so much more manageable. Our family was happy and able to enjoy him once again. He is no longer "out of control" but confident and playful. Without hesitation, I recommend Kelvin for training. We will continue training in the future with Kelvin as well.

I picked up my dogs after several months of boarding. I was dealing with serious health issues. Picked my dogs and was taken back by their condition. Although I was providing food and treats. My dogs came home skinny and sick. Do not take your dogs to this house of horrors. My St. Bernard had lost 50 lbs. my hound mix was skinny and now terrified of everything. My St Bernard had to be put to sleep. They kept him outside in filthy environment only to bring him in at night. No matter the weather. His arthritis got to be too much for him. Consider this a warning.

I took my doberman puppy to the group obedience class at The Dog House a decade ago, and it was the best time and money I ever spent. He was my “easy one” and we never had to worry when traveling as they took great care boarding him. Fast forward, and that school gave me the confidence to rescue an adult dog with a host of problems. She needed a lot of work, but I knew The Dog House was her best chance for rehabilitation. Kelvin, Hayssam, and the rest of the team have worked miracles with her in a mix of private lessons and in-kennel training. Whether you have a young pup or adult with established habits, you owe it to your dog to visit The Dog House for training and discover your dog’s full potential.

I want to talk about the training. We had an 11 month old Golden Retriever that we actually thought we would have to rehome. We are elderly and he was just too much for us. I had trained collies when I was younger but this field golden was way more than I could handle. A neighbor recommended the Dog House training. We put him in the training/boarding three week program while we went on a trip. ( When we came home we had OUR training.) It was a different dog that we picked up at the end of three weeks.
No one is a better trainer than Kelvin. He owns the most distinguished dog training center in Ghana, Africa, and our dog adores him. He uses a variety of training methods and will explain the psychology of why you need to do particular things with your dog. Once I asked that they NOT use treats to train and they accommodated that as well. It is because of Kelvin that we have a “ happy ever after” story with our Jackson. We plan on returning him for refresher courses every year. Thanks Kelvin!

This is the BEST training facility for your dog! We took our 4 mth old Golden Retriever puppy there to learn her manners. It was a 2 week overnight program. Worth every penny as she came home knowing how to sit, come, walk on leash, climb on an elevated bed, wait, stay, focus! I was going out of town an extra week and they offered to keep her and train her that week -they did not charge me extra. With the training you get one-on-one sessions with the trainer during the pups stay, then weekly group classes with other dogs and owners. Our trainer has come to our house a couple of times as well to visit our dog in her surroundings to make sure all is going well. There's approx a dozen trainers on hand in the classes to help you with commands and enforcing what your dog has learned, as the owner you have to be trained too 🙂 The DOG HOUSE truly loves and cares about your dog! It's the BEST! Happy Owners equals Happy Dogs!

we had a fantastic experience with the board & train program. our puppy was there for a month, under daily training from their student trainers with supervision of the owners/master trainers. we received regular updates and visits, our dog received a weekly bath, and she came home a well-behaved girl! we would absolutely send another dog there for training and recommend them to others seeking training. becky (who works at the desk and does personalized pet care for the boarded animals) is a total gem.

After months of being dragged around by my one year old rottweiler friends of ours recommended The Dog House for training. We decided to do the month long board and train with Kelvin. We attended weekly private lessons, were sent videos during that month, and now that he is done we attend weekly group sessions. To say that he's a changed dog would be the understatement of the year! The training he and I have received has changed our lives. We can't thank The Dog House and all the trainers enough for all of their hard work and dedication to our family pet.
