I have a 15 year old Pomeranian that normally fears the grooming salon but my dog is always so happy to come here! They are always so gentle with him and they so quick! My dog literally leaves smiling! I highly recommend this place 🙂

Upon a Google search for a groomer near me, there was a long list, but The Dirty Hairy was 10 minutes from home. So upon needing a groomer, I called and made an appointment for just a bath and nail trim back in mid 2023 for my Aussie puppy. I have been back 3 or 4 times now, and always come away with much appreciation for their profession. Today, 7/31/24 I took my girl RooBee in for a bath and nail trim as usual, however over the past three months her coat has grown wild, foot pad hair and the top of her feet were in need of attention, but I did not have an appointment for a trim, so I simply requested a bath and nail trim, much to my appreciation when I came back one hour later, all of the above had been graciously attended to without a request. The top of her feet and the hair between her pads looks much improved. The best part is there was no extra charge. If you're fur baby is in need of attention, please consider them.

I am very happy with everything! They are very quick to get you in for an appointment, I called on Saturday and was scheduled for Wednesday, I was always waiting for months at other places. I was very scared to take my dog back to the groomers after my last experience at another grooming salon. I previously went to a groomer in north Reno and they left him with multiple cuts and he was sad for an entire week. This is a picture of my dog after his first appointment at The Dirty Hairy Grooming Salon and he couldn't be any more happier! My brother took my dog to his appointment because I had to work but he said the workers were very nice to him. They are also faster than other grooming salons. We are very happy with our experience and will be coming back. 🙂

My 8 year old German Shepherd, Cali gets quite anxious going to the vet or groomer. An issue that developed after surgeries when she was 7 months old. While she was her usual wary self going in for the first time, she was calm and relaxed when I picked her up. Her coat is amazing and her nails are shorter than I could ever get them. They even trimmed her feet so she won’t get snowballs from the upcoming storm. Great service and good people. I will be bringing her back for grooming in the future.

I have taken my Percy 3 times and they are fantastic!! They treat my boy like he is part of the family. I feel comfortable leaving him with them because they care about dogs as much as I do. Its always wonderful when I come back to pick him up he is so happy and he's running around like he owns the place. Thank you Dirty Hairy!!

Unfortunately did not have a positive experience. Picked my dog up and unbeknownst to me they quicked her, didn’t tell me, and she bled all over my new car seats. Owner could care less. Won’t go back. Shop seems disorganized and chaotic.

My dog is very nervous about anything new and for her first grooming session ever it went great, they're very helpful and she came out looking beautiful. The staff is very friendly too! They even got her in the same day I was requesting.
