I get my dogs groomed here, and they love Satine! Otherwise they have a decent selection of pet food and supplies, and staff is friendly. Competitive prices from what I’ve seen.

My daughter took her Shepard there and he was matted even though she brushes him 3 to 4 times a week. She was accused of never brushing her dog. She was accused of neglect and was spoken to with so much disrespect and came home in tears as her dog is her whole world. Will NEVER enter that store again. If I could give zero starts I would. No one deserves to be spoken to the way she was. Shame on you!

My boy won't let anyone cut his nails to the point the vets techs want him sedated so he doesn't hurt himself on the table trying to flip off. Lydia had cut his nails when I first adopted him & we tried her again. I told her if she couldn't no worries. If she needed me to help hold my 75lb bully still, I would do that too. I just wanted to try and avoid the sedatives that the vets office prescribed. I pay for the wellness package there so it costs nothing but the groomers tip but I still don't want to have to sedate him. We will be back. She not only got him on the table without any assistance she got his nails short & with his long quick that's hard!

I called looking for a product and they had it in stock. Clerk took initiative to pull product off the shelf and when I entered store looking a little lost, he asked me if I had called and he had the product at the register waiting for me! All without me asking. Now that is customer service!

The prices are over the top. You can go right down 41 to Homegoods and save a lot of $$. Also the cashier an older woman thinks she’s a vet. I’ve owned several dogs in my lifetime mostly ESS but now I don’t hunt anymore and we bought a Cavalier Spaniel. When she asked me what we were feeding her I told her Farmers Dog. Ohh no our food is much better, I replied is it approved for human consumption? I got a blank stare. Don’t tell me what to feed a $3k dog, I’ll make that decision without your help.

I've been a loyal customer for many years, originally at Lansing and at the newer Schererville store. Decent people and lots of stock, however, do not, and I repeat emphatically, DO NOT buy their Niger thistle. They repack it and the quality is suspect. The finches will avoid your feeders until you replace the thistle from another source. Once you do, the finches promptly return. Don't bother talking to them about it, because they're steadfast in their resolve that it's not their fault. As for the other products purchased, they're fine. Stay away from their repackaged Niger thistle.
