No aceptan. Dogs ahí

I almost hit a dog who ran onto the highway. It was only a mile away from the Taft City animal shelter. The dog was scared and froze in the middle of the highway causing traffic to stop. I was able to jump out of the car onto the highway and pick the dog up and placed him in my car. I took him to the Taft City animal shelter and they refused to take him in. They claim the dog was not in their jurisdiction and said I had to call Bakersfield animal shelter. I was just passing by and trying to do a good deed and help this dog. They told me to take the dog back where I found him which was in the middle of the street on the highway. So I took the dog back and dropped him off in the middle of the highway.

Officer maddsen was absolutely rude and no help with my situation. Later on she blasted me all over Facebook accusing me of being a thief and of illegally dumping animals at the shelter. I've caught her in several lies recently and plan on bringing a formal complaint against her

Taft City Animal Shelter is a wonderful place to find a new furry friend! Their staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they go above and beyond to ensure that all of the animals are well-cared for. The shelter is also very clean and well-maintained, which is important for the health and well-being of the animals.

I recently visited the shelter with my family, and we were impressed with the care that the animals receive. Staff was happy and more than knowledgeable enough to answer our questions and help us find the perfect pet for our family. We adopted a lovely puppy and named her LIzzie.
