Yesterday we came in and had to put our family pup of 10 years to rest. Doctor Blue and her Tech (I’m so sorry I don’t remember your name) were great and so sweet and helpful through our whole process. You guys are truly great at your job ! I would have given 5 stars but to the lady with the colorful hair at the front desk who first greeted me when I walked in to get a slip lead I urge you to rethink the things you say to owners who have no idea what is going to happen to their family dog that day. Saying my mom was in hysterics when she called wasn’t the first thing I wanted to hear from you when I walked through the door of the hospital, she was crying yes but there’s no need to talk about her being “hysterical” through the tough time we were bracing our self to endure.

Incredible experience, the office is very clean and the staff are all so welcoming and kind. Dr. Lewis was very thorough, gentle and caring, she took the time and listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. I didn't feel rushed and the care was not rushed. Emily was great too. Thank you for treating us with such kindness and care. I will definitely be recommending to all of my family and friends.

We had been bringing our pets to this location for years, and they used to be so helpful and compassionate. Dr. Feng diagnosed our dog with early-stage cancer in his front left leg after testing for Valley Fever after we had noticed him favoring and limping on it. Her only option was to put him down, even when we asked what could be done if money were no object. The answer remained the same: put him down. As pet owners, it was incredibly hard to hear such news. Given that he was healthy, happy, and energetic, we sought a second opinion. After tests and X-rays(which were not even offered or considered at AZPETVET), it was concluded that the cancer had not spread to his lungs or the rest of his body, and amputation was an option to prolong and improve his quality of life. It's been months now, and he's happy, healthy, and has already adjusted, loving his new lease on life. We're glad we got the second opinion, but it's sad to see the corporate focus on quick turnarounds since the facility's new ownership and purchase.

The staff is always so nice and caring around Zeke, they always make sure he's taken care of and treat him with great kindness. I absolutely love coming here! Signing up for free vaccines for life for him was also the best thing I've done as it makes sure Zeke gets his vaccines and that I don't have to finance them every time. Less worry overall, and I know he's in great hands here!

My beloved pity had to have surgery a month or so back. Every staff member I have worked with was amazing! Knowledgeable, compassionate & kind!

Also, every time you call they are helpful and smiling over the phone- not a lot of places with this amazing of customer service anymore!

(P.s. Her scar healed up within 2 weeks and hair grew back in 3-4, now you can’t even tell!)

I would love to give a 5 star but I’m just so disheartened by the way they made out their “marble” urn to be. My beloved pet was 13 years old and I can’t help but feel like she deserves much better than this plastic container with a sticker name tag on it (that I HAD to remove) . This urn was described to me as “a beautiful marble urn” when in reality it’s a plastic container with the best 13 years of my life inside. The staff were amazing and I have 0 complaints there but I do think you should do better for your clients loved ones. I’m upset because if I knew what I was getting, I would have upgraded In a heartbeat & I wish I knew what I was truly getting

We woke up Super Bowl Sunday to realize we had lost our 10yr old beloved Wyatt. He had passed in the night. My wife and I were heart broken and lost. Our Normal Vet was closed and we wanted to have him cremated and his paw print. We made a few calls and the wonderful staff at surprise Animal Hospital were incredible. They were open and said bring him right in. Once we arrived they took our best friend in and immediately returned with his paw print and told us he would be in good hands they were very sympathetic and compassionate. I would highly recommend them and trust them with my best friend any day.

i am so pleased with the entire staff. always a smile when we get in. doctors do a complete check-up, and a follow up call the next day to see how my kitties are doing. a couple of years ago, they had to put down one of my cats. they stayed with me, kindness and helped get me thru this terrible time. thanks to you all.
