Surf City Pet Hospital is just a wonderful facility. The employees are kind and caring. They made it easy to make an appointment, even though they were amidst a remodel and move back to their primary location. Dr Sally Gindi is a wonderful veterinarian. She took a lot of time with us to establish care. During the entire visit, she cuddled our new kitten. Highly recommend!

Had THE best experience here..seriously. I will not want to go to another vet. Many reasons as why I will be back. My dog has extreme anxiety and can not be in a crate without his heart rate sky rocketing. When I walked in the receptionist was holding him and petting him to calm him down. It was adorable. They truly cared and wanted to ensure a good experience not only for me but for my dog.
The price was great, $399 for a teeth cleaning w anesthesia is really hard to beat. I called at least 10 local vets around the area and was estimated as high as $1,150 and the lowest was $750.
Thank you for being a good vet and giving fair prices and amazing service. He is a happy dog with clean teeth now!

I live in San Juan Capistrano and got so tired of being overcharged by the local vets. Some even take your dog while you sit in the waiting area. This really made the vet experience for my dogs way more traumatic. My mom lives across the street from Surf City and I decided to try it. Excellent care at half the price.

The staff is wonderful and the Vet Sally Bindi is amazing. She’s kind, gentle and patient and most of all honest. Recently, I had a scare with my fur baby and the staff made it possible to be seen the same day. We’ve found our forever vet.

We were traumatized on our visit yesterday. We brought our hundred pound dog for his teeth cleaning. He was given no food or water after midnight because of anesthesia; At 4:00 PM, three hours after we were told he would be ready to go home, he was still sitting in a cage with no food or water.and still hadn’t been treated. We were told they were “very busy” but that is not my dogs fault that they were over booked and understaffed. We will not be returning which is unfortunate as the first few years we thought their service was excellent.

Surf City Pet Hospital it’s literally THE BEST vet in town. I trust them to the ends of the earth with my beloved babies I can’t say enough positive feedback about them. Last year my 14 y/o dog woke up from a nap paralyzed in both his front legs; I took him to VCA emergency and the quoted me $30k for surgery and suggest he be put down. I left and waited and brought him into Surf City and we did an X-ray and she put him on a 4-8 week medication and rest regimen and my baby was walking again in 5 weeks. It was incredible. He also just went in at 14 y/o and went under anesthesia to get his dental surgery and is healing amazing. Surf city deserves your business and your babies deserve their care and attention!
