I recently took my dog to Sunset Veterinary Center, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was amazing. The staff was incredibly caring and ensured my dog and I felt comfortable throughout the entire visit.

My dog needed to get his rabies shot, and the process was quick and efficient. The vet took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions, which I appreciated. They provided an invoice with recommended services but never pressured me to spend more than I could afford, which I found very respectful and considerate. To top it off, they sent my dog home with the cutest bandana--such a thoughtful touch!

What impressed me was the follow-up call the next day to check on my dog and make sure he was doing well after the shot. It showed that they genuinely care about their patients. Plus, the pricing was very reasonable, which made the whole experience even better.

I highly recommend Sunset Veterinary Center to anyone looking for a caring and professional veterinary clinic. I'll be returning for all my pet's future needs!

We loved Dr. An and his staff!!! They were so professional and so caring! We appreciated he wasn’t pushy for certain services. He was gentle with the dogs!! Highly recommended!! They are definitely our new vet!!

UPDATE: In all the years Sophie's received her rabies vaccination, Dr. An is the FIRST vet to ever provide us with a rabies certificate and collar tag with her rabies vaccine info on it. It's those little details that add up to a world of care for our fur baby. Thank you Sunset!

How can you find the right words to thank your vet for saving your fur baby? That's exactly what Dr. Ah and his staff did...saved our precious Pomeranian, Sophie. Within 40 mins Sophie's health drastically deteriorated. Within the hour, Sophie was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Dr. Ah flawlessly handled her transfer to an emergency animal hospital where she stayed for three days. His care didn't end there. He called us over the weekend with updates as he was in constant communication with the hospital.

I would not hesitate in recommending Sunset Veterinary Center. The staff is so caring and professional. The facility is immaculate and I love their minimalist design.

I have been debating on posting this review for a while but today was the last straw with this alleged Doctor. I had previously taken my pup to this doctor because of its stellar reviews. Almost a year in I started noticing discrepancies with some of the diagnosis for my pup. When I would ask staff questions or even the doctor regarding treatment or follow up questions they would freeze and not know what to say. At first I took it as they are still new and perhaps they are a little nervous and want confirmation on their response. However when it started occurring every time I would have an appointment and asked my questions I started questioning if they knew what they were doing and if perhaps I should look for a new doctor. Not to mention that they would give me this ridiculous treatment plan and include services that I had thought of doing in the future and notified me that it was important that I did them now. They really wouldn’t take into consideration my concerns and why I brought my dog to his specific appointment. Rather than sell me a collar or some spray that would help my dog’s nerves how about you help me understand why my dog would continue to get ear infections. Thank god I did and I am now getting my pup the adequate and appropriate treatment as well as food for him. I am reassured that my dog’s new vet and vet technicians have the knowledge and training to leave my dogs well being in their hands. Now, there was an incident that took place with this Sunset Veterinary Center. I won’t get into the details but it left a negative impression and made me realize that they treat people of color differently. What I will say is that if you aren’t dressed to the nines or if you are a hard working individual that does not have a white collar job but rather do construction or gardening these people will look at you differently and make you feel insecure. That is exactly how the two ladies in the front made my father feel. Those ladies need to do better and respect everyone. Not once did my father give them an attitude and said something inappropriate. He just asked where I was because he need my car keys. This is 2024 and people as well as business like this need to be called out. I did bring up my concerns to Dr. A but I’ll be completely honest, I felt that he didn’t really care and was just talking and making excuses to save his place of business. If you really felt embarrassed or sorry or as you stated “didn’t tolerate this behavior” you and those ladies should have properly apologized to my father. Not me. It has now been two going on three months that we have not had contact with this veterinary and tell me why they call me reminding me of an appointment for my dog? I specifically stated that I would NOT be returning after the events that transpired. I left them a voicemail and Dr. An returned my call stating that my “grandmother” had made an appointment and that it was a miscommunication and that I should have a better day. First of all, both of my grandmothers passed away when I was 5 years old so there is not way my “grandmother” would make an appointment. Since this place doesn’t not take the hint maybe this review will make them understand that I want nothing to do with this veterinary and I do not want to be contacted by them. I am happy with my dogs new doctor and have no plans of ever coming back here. Dr. An I continue to have “better” days especially more so since I am now taking my dog with adequate and respectful veterinarians. I do not like being harassed by you and you need to realize how you speak is out of line. DO BETTER. Take a hint of this review to leave us alone and do better with how you communicate with pet parents. Take this as a life lesson and work on have proper respect for pet parents before you start losing more clients. I hope you actually keep your word and tell your staff to NOT contact me. Hopefully nobody else calls you out.

My dog passed away on our way to see Dr. An. Upon arrival, the staff was so compassionate and caring. They took clay paw prints, ink prints of his nose and paws and provided samples of his fur from his mane and tail. Such precious keepsakes! Thank you Dr. An and staff! I couldn’t have done this on my own. I know my fur baby was in good hands.

We've been looking for a trustworthy, extremely skilled and knowledgeable local veterinarian for a while. Our boys were some of the first few patients seen by Dr. An and we are pleased. The facility is brand new, the staff are outstanding, and Dr. An himself is a stellar veterinarian. He is personable and very understanding. We are an extremely clean family and are opposed to medications- Dr. An took this extremely graciously and we have so much respect for him. If you're looking for a vet, come by! You will make this your longterm home for your pets!

I was looking for a new vet and came across this brand new clinic in Diamond Bar. The doctor was very nice, knowledgeable, and treated my dog so well. The staff was also super welcoming and friendly! The office is very clean, modern, and the art on the walls were a nice touch . Parking was also ample and the office was easy to find. Overall we will definitely be coming back!
