I’m very happy that I choice St. John’s for my rehab. Everyone was super helpful and nice. You could tell it was a nice place to work by all of their attitudes. They were always smiling and even joked around yet very attentive to my needs and training. They made me feel comfortable. Everyone helped each other and if they saw a patient needling assistance with something or even their room light on someone would always check on you, it didn’t matter if they were a nurse, meal person, doctor or head administrator or maintenance personnel, someone always checked. If they could help the world, or they’d let whoever could know. Instead of making me feel like I was just a disruption to their day they med me feel cared for and safe. They were all so happy to help.
Having just one leg in a brace that I couldn’t put any weight on made it very difficult to get around. They taught me ways to move and do so safely. The therapy was tough, but they never push above your ability and they always made sure that things were done safely.
I would recommend this place to anyone who has mobility issues. If I ever need rehab again, I will go back there for sure. St. John’s rehab hospital is the best place that I know of to go for the proper care needed.

This place, and the people who work here - are just down right awesome. This is a place of hope, healing, and joy. They make miracles happen. Everyone seems happy here - from the receptionist greeting people up front with a big smile - to the therapists and nurses and house keeping and physicians - even administration. Beautiful facility, beautiful people doing Good work. I would give 10 stars if I could.

My mother had 4 strokes and spent 12 days here.
This place is fabulous! They taught my mom how to properly use a walker and wheelchair. They taught her how to navigate stairs, how to get in and out of both a bed and bathtub. They were able to answer all of our questions and gave us additional ideas on things we could get to use at home to make it easier for my mom.
The facility is clean and well-kept. The food was very good and well cooked.
The people that work here ALL care about the clients. No matter who we ran into, they were friendly and had such compassion for the patients.
Best experience we could have possibly ask for.

During my recent visit to St. John Rehab Hospital in Broken Arrow, I was disheartened by the facility's apparent understaffing and lack of professionalism. As I navigated several empty halls in search of assistance to locate my relative, I encountered a discouraging encounter. A staff member approached me with hostility, questioning my presence and instructing me to leave immediately.

Upon explaining the absence of help at the entrance, I was directed back there and asked to wait, still met with an unwelcoming tone. After some time, I discovered a small, handwritten sign indicating that staff was on lunch, advising visitors to seek assistance at the nurse station. Unfortunately, I did not encounter any nurse stations during my exploration of the facility.

My concern heightened as I observed the absence of security measures, allowing for potential unauthorized access to patient rooms. This lack of security is unsettling and raises serious questions about the safety of patients and visitors.

In perusing various reviews, I noticed recurring issues, often met with generic responses expressing regret and promising to forward the information to the appropriate channels. This dismissive approach suggests a lack of genuine concern for improving the overall experience of patients and their families. 1/30/24 Update: Case in point please note the response that I surmised at the onset of this review is highlighted (See Below).

In conclusion, based on my distressing encounter and the recurrent issues highlighted in other reviews, I cannot recommend St. John Rehab Hospital for anyone seeking recovery or rehabilitation services. It is my hope that the facility takes serious measures to address these concerns and prioritize the well-being and security of its patients and visitors.

I didn't like the treatment I received. I came here after having a very painful surgery. The people were nice for the most part. But there were some that acted like I was a bother to them when I called for help. I didn't always get my pain meds when I was supposed to but yet I was still expected to do physical therapy. I was there for two weeks and my bed clothes were never changed the entire time.

The nursing doctors and PT staff (particularly Colleen and Brad? I think, the married couple PT). All around the care given was excellent! I would suggest larger potions from the kitchen. Everything was delicious, just not nearly enough. Thank you

I had a very pleasant experience during my week long stay. The nurses and nurse techs always made sure I was comfortable and responded quickly whenever I called them. The OTs and PTs challenged and encouraged me during our sessions. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay, and when it was time to go home I felt confident and ready to continue my recovery. The OTs and PTs really set the tone for my recovery and I couldn't have done so well without them.
