I work in a support role to the vet/pet world, so I am a bit picky on who can watch our two. We have boarded them at SDR for years - from 1 night to many more. This August we went on a trip of a lifetime and went away for three weeks ! When we go home - the dogs were happy and content - right back into their “at home routine “ with no issues and no change in their behavior. (As in - mad at us or any other negative changes)
They care they get with Cathy and her team are great, they truly care!

I boarded my dog Bugsy there, for a week, Cathy gave me updates, sent me pictures that evening, she assured me that he was doing well, which I really appreciate it, I love Bugsy very much, he used to always come with me when I traveled, unfortunately he just does not travel well anymore, so I think best he stays home. During the trip, she was in contact with me, letting me know, he was doing well, which I really appreciated, it was good to see him on her website having fun.. Cathy is the best!! Bugsy will never go anywhere else, to be boarded.. If you are as picky as I am, about boarding your dog, go to Cathy.
The kennels are clean the grounds are clean.. SQUARE DOG RANCH IS THE BEST!!

This place is awesome. I was referred to Square Dog Ranch by another facility when I needed last-minute boarding for my fur baby.
He's a rescued that was abandoned so he can be a bit skittish around other dogs and new people at times.
When we dropped him off, he was a little nervous, but after Cathy and her daughter made him feel safe and loved, he started to relax. We received updates and lots of photos. They took great care of my boy and I would highly recommend Square Dog Ranch.

This place is amazing. My Greyhound and Italian Greyhound love it here. It just goes to show that Cathy and the rest of the staff here are the best at what they do. They took such great care of our dogs while my wife and I were out of town. Their communication is excellent along with the updates/pics they gave while we were away. This is the only place our dogs like to go. My wife and I highly recommend them.

Square Dog Ranch has to be, hands down, the BEST dog (and cat!) boarding center in the state. Owner Ms. Cathy is friendly as can be and cares for clients’ dogs like she cares for her own. She works hard to ensure that each pet on her ranch is given quality care (e.g., fresh water, plenty of walks and play time, roomy kennels). I can firmly say that I trust Square Dog Ranch to provide my dogs with a fun and safe environment while my family and I are away.

The property is very nice and well kept. You’ll meet sheep and other awesome animals (even a llama!) when you pull into the parking lot, and then suddenly you’ll understand why it’s referred to as a “ranch.” The ranch has plenty of land for dogs to explore during their walks and overall it’s just a really nice piece of land. While YOU go on vacation, your DOGS go on a vacation of their own at Square Dog! ✨

I’d say, if you’re struggling to find a good place to board your dog or cat, give Square Dog Ranch a try. You won’t be disappointed. I certainly wasn’t!

(P.S., Ms. Cathy takes photos of your doggos and sends them to you while you’re away so you don’t have to worry. The photos are so cute. Definitely worth framing, so have your picture frames ready, y’all!)
