Had a great visit with Dr. Sarah. She took her time with us and explained about the heart murmur our dog has, what signs to look for. Dr. Sarah is a very personable and passionate person. You can tell she cares about her furry patients and their owners.

We were glad to have Dr Sara for Bailey yearly checkup . Everything was good for Bailey but also talked about different issues that come up and have a plan for those issues when issues come up Also a shout out for Laura who is a great tech! I recently had my dog Lilly treated for skin allergies. She was seen by Dr Hahn who did a fantastic job with her. He is friendly, kind and has a great “dog side” manner. The techs and office staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you to all.

All the vet's are great. I have been going there for over 15 years. They are very accommodating to my rottweiler who is a massive pain to deal with at the vet.

My experience was not good. When I first got there, I told them that I wanted to wait on the pro heart because it is really expensive and I wanted to look into alternative ideas, but apparently they did it anyway even though I wasn't told during the appointment, and I was charged at the end when I got to the desk. Then they also tried to charge me for fecal testing, and I told them that I did not want that nor did I even have a fecal sample, so they at least took that off. But 4 days later they called me with the "results" of my fecal test. So, they 1. are lying and not actually doing the tests, or 2. got the labs mixed in with someone else. Both are completely unacceptable. I have been going there for years and it just keeps going down hill. I will NOT be back. Update on 11/7/24: The response that was given 1. Never once apologized for giving my animal something I said I did NOT want, 2. Never explained how I could get results back from a test I never got, 3. Never took any accountability and rather basically apologized that I felt that way, which is pretty condescending. 7 years with your organization and I know that me and my animal deserve more.

I recently moved to Illinois with my 4 fur babies (one is over 14 and, more importantly, one with Addison Disease) and everyone at Spoon River has been wonderful. Dr. Marcum has been absolutely wonderful with Yogi and ensuring her Addison stays under control even during the stress of a long distance move.
